Today we’d like to introduce you to Sierra Jiwani
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always had a deep curiosity about the world. From an early age, I’ve felt fascination with all kinds of things—interior design, fashion, spirituality, mindfulness, business, etc. I always felt a gut-level of certainty that one day, I’d be a heart-centered leader, but I never knew how it would all come together. The vessel to that leadership being sound is something that found me more than I went looking for it.
Sound has always been my sanctuary, with music being more than just entertainment. It’s been a space for me to feel, process, understand and connect with the world around me. Like many, I’ve built playlists for every mood and life moment, where each song enhances the experience.
It was this intimate relationship with music that introduced me to the transformative world of sound healing. When I was around 15, I became a big fan of the work of R&B singer, Jhené Aiko. In my early twenties, I happened to catch an interview where she showed her sound healing room full of beautiful crystal bowls. She shared her intention to use her platform to heal the world and that was it—that was my “Aha” moment where something just clicked inside me.
I felt a very strong call to explore the world of singing bowls. I started small with a set of bowls from my favorite crystal shop, and they quickly became essential to my daily mindfulness routine. I showed them to friends and family, and the experiences we had together were so soothing and powerful, they were indescribable. It became clear that sound wasn’t just about music—it was something far deeper, something that had the undeniable power to heal and make an impact.
I eventually trained under Jeralyn Glass, the visionary behind Crystal Cadence & Sacred Science of Sound in Los Angeles. Jeralyn’s teachings opened up new dimensions for me—not only in terms of sound’s physical and emotional impact but its scientific foundation as well. Coincidentally, she also happens to be Jhené Aiko’s sound mentor, which felt like a beautiful full-circle moment in my journey.
Now, I’m hosting sound baths in the serene landscapes of Scottsdale, where I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with amazing wellness leaders like Vuori Clothing and many other local businesses. I’m filled with gratitude for the communities I’ve been able to serve and connect with through this work.
My whole practice is about creating a space where people can come and just be—where they can feel safe, supported, and open to whatever healing they need. My mission is simple: to provide a space where love, acceptance, and intention guide the experience.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Choosing to turn my passion into a profession came with its challenges, but I always knew deep down it was the right path for me. The first 10 months of Mindful Resonance were all about putting myself out there—taking risks, stepping into the unknown, and trusting the process. Building a heart-centered community takes time, and while there were moments of uncertainty, I never doubted the power of a pure heart and true intention.
I pour my heart into every offering, and I’ve always believed that when your intentions are clear, the right people and opportunities will find you. That inner knowing gave me the confidence to keep pushing forward, even when things weren’t always clear. I trusted that I was being guided toward something bigger, and every step has proven that belief right. The road has been worth every challenge. I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, serving others and living my purpose.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Mindful Resonance?
Mindful Resonance offers sound healing, mindfulness teachings, Reiki, and energy-cleansing practices in both group and private settings. Our foundation is built on community, inclusivity, and pure intention, with the aim of creating spaces where people can connect deeply with themselves, be in an accepting community and feel supported on their healing journey, with us meeting our community members wherever they are at.
What truly sets Mindful Resonance apart is our purely Crystal Alchemy sound baths. We use bowls crafted by Crystal Tones, which are among the highest-quality crystal singing bowls in the world. Each bowl is made from 99.99% pure clear quartz crystal, known for its incredible emotional balancing, mental clarity, and healing properties. But what makes them even more powerful is the unique “Alchemy” of additional crystals and minerals infused into each bowl, which gives each bowl their own unique color and beneficial qualities. These bowls are so powerful yet perfectly gentle at the same time. From Sedona Red Rock to Mt. Shasta Serpentine, each element brings its own distinct energy, enhancing the healing experience in profound ways.
At the heart of our work is the belief in the transformative power of frequency. Sound is more than just an auditory experience—it’s a powerful tool that can shift our inner state, helping to release emotional blockages, calm the nervous system, and promote deep relaxation. The frequencies from our Crystal Alchemy bowls are specifically tuned to resonate with the body on a cellular level, facilitating healing from the inside out. Many clients have shared that they’ve never experienced sound healing quite like this before. It’s more than just sound—it’s a true immersion.
When you step into one of our sessions, you’re entering a sacred space where you can release, relax, and feel the power of the Earth’s elements working in harmony with frequency.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
When it comes to finding a mentor, I truly believe that our teachers find us when the time is right. Some of my greatest mentors came into my life simply by being at the right place—whether I saw them at an event and felt deeply inspired or discovered them on social media and reached out for guidance. It’s all about following that resonance when you feel it. Odds are, you are feeling it for a reason.
Social media, despite its ups and downs, has been a powerful tool for building community. Many of my collaborations began with a simple DM or a follow. I’ve connected with some of my closest friends, expanders, and mentors in the industry through these platforms.
