Hidden Gems: Meet Selena Wolff

Today we’d like to introduce you to Selena Wolff.

Hi Selena, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I make and sell Hawaiian-inspired Donuts (Malasadas) it is a franchise based out of Anchorage, Alaska. My family and I were fortunate to live in Alaska for a few yrs due to the military. When we first tried Wiki-licious Malasadas we were hooked.

Once we got stationed in Tucson I had the amazing opportunity to bring it here and share this delicious treat with my community. We are a home bakery under cottage law that is based out of Corona De Tucson. We do events throughout Tucson on the weekends and also offer pre-orders a few times a month.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
We have encountered a few challenges along the way, as I am sure many small businesses have.

Juggling personal life (full-time work/mom life) and building a business has its moments of chaos but grateful for all that I have learned and still learning during this experience.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
There are many unique and creative local businesses in Tucson I’m just happy I get to be part of that.

The support from the community is amazing! Tucson definitely knows how to support small businesses. These delicious, soft, and sweet treats can bring a smile to anyone’s face, and with the 12+ flavors we offer it can also satisfy any sweet tooth.

What do you think about luck?
No luck, it’s just the amazing support I have received from my family, friends, wiki family, other small businesses, and the community that has gotten me to where I am today.
