Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
I am very fortunate to be a part of this Ideatech Creatives team. My journey has been a winding road with many twists and turns. I’ve overcome various obstacles and challenges, both personally and professionally, to get to where I am today. But through hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn, I’ve grown and evolved, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Ideatech Creatives.

I wouldn’t be where I am without the support from my family, including my wonderful wife, Kacey, and two lovely daughters, Ashlyn and Kinsley, who are the most important part of my life and motivate me to be the best I can be every day. Having a strong support system that believes in me has allowed me to do things I never would have without their support. My career has been diverse and has taken me through many different roles and industries. Starting at an SEO firm when I first moved to Arizona, I connected the digital understanding of marketing and exposure with my passion for design and branding. I started a journey I didn’t know would be what it was, taking on the position of Marketing Director at a local organic fertilizer company and, over a decade, helping to build a successful nationally distributed brand represented in almost all 50 states. This experience taught me more than I anticipated, a lot about business, wearing multiple hats, as is true in many small companies, and the value of hard work and strategy.

Starting a creative agency has been a challenging but rewarding experience, and I cannot say that I’ve done any of this on my own. Domenic Fotino has been an essential part of our team, and I’m grateful for his support and contributions, being too many to list. Ryan Fidler has also been a valuable mentor, providing me and our team with valuable insights about leadership and building a successful business.

I’m proud to work with an incredible team of talented all-female designers, developers, and content generators who are the backbone of our company. They continuously strive to get better and challenge themselves daily, and it’s a blessing to have so many talented people under one roof.

Our projects have been diverse, and we’ve worked on rebuilding multiple websites, developing e-commerce sites, creating rewards programs, rebranding in different industries, and creating content and strategy. Our massive cyc wall studio has been a significant accomplishment, where under Domenic’s vision, it allows us to generate content that converts and provides value to the brands we work with at an incredible scale. As a team, I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for Ideatech Creatives. We are committed to pushing ourselves to the next level, delivering creative solutions that exceed our client’s expectations.

We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Every industry and new beginning comes with its share of challenges and obstacles we must overcome, and Ideatech Creatives is no different. We found early that an agency, even with our background and individual history, could have translated better in the conference room when speaking with potential clients. We found the need to prove ourselves a daunting task to be able to showcase our branding and creative solutions.

There have been branding challenges, pushing through barriers in different industries, such as medicine and agriculture, but even in other markets, being able to tell the story of a brand to their target market is essential to getting it right, prioritizing that has been essential to our success.

In many cases, business owners are great at working with their staff and executing product development and deliverables, but creating content is always a challenge for many owners and team members we work with. We’ve learned many tricks and strategies to help clients feel comfortable in front of the camera, leading to their audience learning more about who they are and why they do what they do.

Last, and maybe too much here to list, but the standard procedures and integrations between our CRM and task management and invoicing software have seen some changes, improving with each new development. We’ve found that we can mitigate bottlenecks quickly and efficiently by keeping an open, consistent line of communication with all team members about what is needed to get things done and the roadblocks we are experiencing. We are so fortunate to have a great group of clients that work with us regularly to elevate their content marketing and brand influence as a whole.
