Hi Lauren, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started this business as a newly single mother, with no formal training or financial backing—just determination, resilience, and a vision for something better. What began as a small side gig quickly grew into a full-time operation.

There were many challenges along the way—learning to manage a business while raising two children, facing financial uncertainty, and navigating the steep learning curve of entrepreneurship. But each obstacle pushed me to grow, both personally and professionally.

Over time, I built a trusted team and created systems that allowed the business to thrive—even through life’s unexpected trials. In 2024, I began offering subcontracting opportunities to other single parents, providing the same flexibility and support I once needed.

Being voted Best of Best Cleaning Service for 2023 & 2024, along with recently being awarded Best of Yavapai in 2025 – by the Prescott NOW Magazine- was a proud and humbling moment—proof that the hard work and long nights have led to something meaningful and lasting.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not smooth, but every bump has been part of the journey. In the beginning, one of the hardest parts was simply being taken seriously. I’m a woman in a labor-intensive industry, and I had to prove myself over and over—especially when it came to commercial bids or negotiating contracts.

I also faced challenges scaling the business without compromising the quality and personal care that set us apart. There were times I had to walk away from clients or jobs that didn’t align with our standards, even when we really needed the income. That takes confidence—and a lot of learning through trial and error.

Staffing has also been a big lesson. Finding people who share the same work ethic, values, and attention to detail wasn’t easy. It took time to build a team I could trust, and even now, that’s something I’m constantly refining.

The road has been full of challenges, but each one taught me something valuable and pushed the business to grow in the right direction.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is spending time at my Nana’s house. She always made amazing meals—like steaks cooked in the crockpot, mashed potatoes with gravy, and fresh rolls. I loved being there, enjoying the food and the special treats she’d give me. Another memory I treasure is going to Bundy Canyon Preschool, where we had farm animals. It was such a fun experience and really made those early years memorable.
