Today we’d like to introduce you to Krisha Payne.

Hi Krisha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have been in the real estate industry in some capacity for 18 years and I have always wanted to own my own business. I started thinking about insurance when Covid hit and things were very uncertain for everyone. Insurance is there to protect from the unexpected and Covid was certainly that! I spoke to a recruiter from State Farm and everything fell together perfectly.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I am a believer that the hardest things turn out to be the best things! There is no growth in your safe and familiar comfort zone. Starting my insurance agency was smooth in the sense that things worked out how I wanted them to, however, it wasn’t easy to make it happen! I encountered many sleepless nights, tears, stress, worries, hopes, and excitement… all of the things that come with uncharted territories and risk-taking.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
When I decided on opening an insurance agency, I spoke to many companies and nothing resonated with me as State Farm did. Brand recognition, reputation, long-term/loyal customers, and amazing marketing are just a few of the reasons I chose State Farm. Each and every customer is important to my team and me. It’s not just about writing a policy and then never hearing from us again. We stay in touch, we follow up and do what we say we are going to do! We want to be the trusted resource for all of our customer’s insurance needs.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Aside from my family and friends, I have been so fortunate to build up an amazing crew of cheerleaders in the real estate industry and beyond over the years. They refer me to their clients, friends and family because they know how hard I work and know that they will be well taken care of. I am also lucky to have a fabulous team who manage the day-to-day in my office, take care of our customers and have the same work ethic I do.
