Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Sezer.
Hi Jessica , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a artistic side. But when we recently moved to Phoenix, I saw all the markets and vendors. I fell in love with the vendor community. I thought to myself I can take my passion for art and share it with the world. So I started last May as a vendor, now I’m in three vendor stores selling my handcrafted treasures and then this January I started my other business as a event coordinator. I host market events. I love the vendor community, I understand the hustle it takes to make your small business grow. It’s alot of work but well worth it
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a ride with ups and downs but that is how you learn and get better. I started small as a vendor now I have a beautiful set-up. Being a vendor takes a lot of work and sacrifice.
I’m a workaholic no matter what. I’ve grateful for all the great opportunities so far and more to come in the future.
I help out and give great advice to my new fellow small business owners. Love to see others grow and be successful.
As you know, we’re big fans of Free Spirit Treasures by JS & Sezer Productions AZ. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m a Latina artisan, I create dream & sun catchers, unique wind chimes and other beautiful treasures.
I’m known for being a market vendor and for hosting large market events at the Arizona Center in downtown Phoenix.
I’m so proud of where I have come in a very short period. I’m still working to make my businesses grow. It’s a lot of work. Like they say I left my 9- 5 job now now I work 24/7. But the best part is I am my own boss now.
Keep working hard and never give up on your dreams.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
I remember my mom saying “your going to go something great in the future.” I’ve always loved to help people too.
