Hi Jeremie, thanks for sharing your story with us. Let’s start at the beginning — how did The Watson Agency come to life?
Absolutely — The Watson Agency was born from both passion and frustration. I started my career helping businesses grow, but I kept noticing a painful pattern: most companies were strong in their craft but weak in their communication. They had great products, services, and missions — but no system to tell their story, build trust, or scale sustainably.
That’s where the idea for The Watson Agency came from — an innovation-first, integrated marketing agency designed to bridge that gap. We don’t just run ads; we build brands that scale.

Before we dive deeper, tell us a little bit about your background.
I’ve always been competitive and driven. I was an athlete in high school and earned a scholarship to Minnesota State University, where I initially planned to become an attorney.
“My folks always told me I should study law growing up,” and for a while, I did. But as I went through college, I realized I was far more fascinated by psychology, communication, and human behavior why people buy, connect, and believe. That curiosity led me to switch my major to marketing, and that one decision completely changed the trajectory of my life.
Now, I use that same understanding of human behavior to help brands communicate, connect, and convert more effectively — because whether you’re in a courtroom or a boardroom, influence is everything.

Can you share a defining moment in your journey?
One of the biggest turning points came during college. I actually launched my first business from my dorm room with my brother and a couple of close friends. We ended up partnering with a premier promotions company and a top venue to bring Soulja Boy to Minnesota — and we packed the place out.
After that, we replicated the model and started throwing some of the biggest events in Minnesota while I was still a student. I was the one writing contracts, hiring security, coordinating performances, negotiating with venues, managing artists, selling tickets — and packing these venues out at night.
Then I’d wake up a few hours later, grab some coffee, and head straight to football practice and class in the morning. Laughs. It was wild — but it taught me everything about business, leadership, and pressure.
Those early experiences gave me a front-row seat to the art of promotion, storytelling, and audience psychology — the same principles that now drive every campaign we run at The Watson Agency.
Later in my career, we worked with a business that had over 59,000 inactive emails — a list everyone else had written off. Within one week, that campaign generated over $250,000 in new revenue, and within ten months, we generated over $2 million dollars from these types of campaigns.
That moment proved that with the right message, system, and strategy — no opportunity is ever truly dead.

Tell us about what you do and what makes your agency different.

Beyond brand building, I’ve also coordinated hundreds of promotional events for world-class artists including Post Malone, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Black Eyed Peas, Ty Dolla $ign, and many more.
Each experience taught me that whether you’re promoting an artist or scaling a business, success always comes down to timing, storytelling, and execution.

What drives you today?
Impact. I believe that when good people and good ideas get the right visibility, the world shifts for the better.

If you could share one piece of advice with new entrepreneurs, what would it be?
Don’t chase trends — build systems.
Trends fade, algorithms change, but systems compound. When you focus on building repeatable structures instead of quick wins, your business becomes unstoppable.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Everything I did in business has been bootstrapped. In the early years, I moved to LA with my business partners and friend group under the direction of an Atlantic records A&R who told us if we wanted to break into the business we should be in LA. In those years we overcame so struggles figuring out the best angle and business model, generating income, managing family and business etc.
A lot of lessons looking back.
