Today we’d like to introduce you to Janica Sampang
Hi Janica, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started Cosmo Bakeology because I simply love the process of baking – the creativity, the precision, the satisfaction of creating something delicious. I also love sharing my creations to others and getting positive feedback. Growing up I love watching my mom bake which sparked my interest in baking myself. I began to bake for my family then overtime I got the confidence to bake for my friends. It had then made me realize why not start a home bakery?
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a home bakery was very challenging. It took a lot of research in order to reach legal compliance. However, as soon as the legal aspect was set it become more easier and gave me peace of mind knowing that I had all the permits and licenses needed to operate.

Cosmo Bakeology is a micro bakery focused on smaller batches and custom orders. I operate from my home kitchen and offer baked goods to your doorstep. My goal is to bridge cultural heritage with entrepreneurship. My products can range from traditional baked goods such as a delicious chocolate chip cookie to bold Filipino flavors like ube and pandan. I am proud to incorporate traditional Filipino pastries and delicacies, bringing the flavors from my childhood to a wider audience.
What matters most to you?
As a baker, the most important thing is to create delicious and satisfying treats for my customers. I strive to have repeat customers and fulfilling a customers cravings.
