Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamesly Similien.
Jamesly, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Big Zoe’s Auto Detailing was built on passion, purpose, and a promise.
After leaving my job with just $600 to my name, I made a life-changing decision to take a leap of faith and start something meaningful. This wasn’t just about cars; it was about carrying on a dream.
Big Zoe was a close family friend someone full of ambition and heart, who dreamed of starting his own detailing business. Sadly, he passed away from a drug overdose before he could bring that dream to life. In his memory, I decided to make that dream a reality.
Every wash, wax, and polish at Big Zoe’s is done with pride, precision, and purpose. We don’t just clean cars we restore them with care and dedication, honoring Big Zoe’s vision with every detail.
At Big Zoe’s Auto Detailing, we vow to provide an exceptional detailing experience, built on respect, integrity, and excellence because this is more than a business.
It’s a legacy.
It’s family.
It’s for Big Zoe.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all — but every bump in the road has taught me something valuable. Starting Big Zoe’s Auto Detailing wasn’t easy. I began with very little — no fancy setup, just a vision, faith, and a strong work ethic. There were times I questioned if it would all be worth it — days when the phone didn’t ring, when I had to work through the Arizona heat for hours, and when balancing business and personal life felt impossible.
What kept me going was the memory of “Big Zoe.” When things got tough, I reminded myself why I started — to honor his name, to serve people, and to build something bigger than myself. Those early struggles built the foundation for what Big Zoe’s Auto Detailing stands for today: excellence, resilience, and community.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
