Hi Fiaz, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have been writing diary regularly for the last 18 years and it’s not easy to maintain a huge pile of your personal thoughts and moments in a physical form. I have also tried almost all the available diary/journal apps in the past but I couldn’t use any of them consistently as I was concerned about the security, annoying ads that pop up, expensive premium options, and limited features. Thus, DiaryFi Journal was born. I wanted to create an app packed with tons of features and gradually add-on with more functionalities. 

DiaryFi Journal App is an innovative journal designed to allow practically anyone to take down notes or information regardless of their location without the fear of losing them. The diary app is user-friendly with an interface that anyone can easily navigate and put down notes as desired. It is built with additional layers of security and encryption so you can keep up your privacy and moments to yourself. 

It is designed for all kinds of people and can be used for a wide range of purposes, including writing a diary or recording their notable moments using an extraordinary speech-to-text feature. You can create a moment on the DiaryFi app and leave your thoughts, memories, add photos, choose your mood for the day, set reminders to remind you about this particular day after a year/month/specific date. 

It also allows you to add a contact (mentions) in your moment allowing you to keep the contact information of the person associated with your memory. You can filter the moments using a calendar, location. You can mark any of the moments as your favorite and also share a snapshot of your moment as an image on social media. 

The data is saved on your local device and then uploaded to the server in an encrypted form, keeping it very secure. If you switch between iOS/android, you’d still be able to access all your moments if you have an account created. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge was to get people to use the app because there are many options available in the market place but when people started using it, we got glowing reviews and constructive feedback which helped us improve the platform and user experience.
