Hidden Gems: Meet Faye Urlacher of Artstudio 101

Today we’d like to introduce you to Faye Urlacher.

Faye Urlacher

Hi Faye, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I launched Artstudio 101 in 2000 to provide clients, including designers and other project specifiers, with personalized custom art consulting that meets (or exceeds!) the specific goals of every project. We find artists of all mediums and price points locally, nationally, and internationally at every opportunity.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes, the economy, COVID-19, and many other obstacles have been struggles that all businesses face. However, I am so blessed to have an amazing, hard-working staff that is smart, flexible, and supportive. We have overcome the challenges, and our business model remains strong.

I appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about artstudio 101?
We specialize in custom art consulting, whether a small project requires a single piece or an entire building. We listen to our clients and work collaboratively to create an amazing custom space. All of our consultants understand that the smallest details matter regardless of the size of the project.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
We have been a local business in the valley for over 23 years. Our studio is open by appointment and is an ever-evolving space displaying works of art and our vast framing collection. Hemmingway, our friendly studio cat, is an integral part of Artstudio 101 and is often “featured” in our social media postings. 🙂
