Hidden Gems: Meet Dani Evans and Joelle McCasland of FITLOGISTIX and FitX On-Demand

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dani Evans and Joelle McCasland. They shared their story with us below:

Danielle started her career as a Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff. With a passion for fitness, she took the leap and, after 8 years, made a career change and started learning all aspects of the fitness industry, from personal training, sales, and gym management. She relocated to Arizona and met her now business partner, Joelle McCasland.

Joelle is pretty much an Arizona native and graduated from ASU with a degree in Exercise Physiology. They both had a shared passion for fitness and landed together in the business of fitness equipment sales and room design. They both knew that by combining their talents they could create something special.

In 2011, they did just that, and FitLogistix was born. It wasn’t long after that the business started to grow, and both their husbands joined in, and it is now truly a “family affair.” Starting in just the state of Arizona, within 14 years they they have added New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Montana & recently Colorado, along with a portfolio of national accounts throughout the country.

In 2016, they founded a second company called FitX On-Demand. With On-Demand Fitness on the rise in commercial fitness spaces, it brought on the challenges of technology and subscriptions. Deciding that customers wanted a non-subscription, no internet, and hassle-free option, we created FitX.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing worthwhile is easy. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it has been worth it. There are always challenges when you own and run a company, but taking it one day at a time, we have been able to navigate any issues that have come our way.

FitLogistix was founded on customer service, and we take pride in bringing our client’s visions to life. Matrix Fitness is our primary fitness equipment brand, and together, we have created some spectacular fitness centers.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that people wouldn’t know about us and our brand is that Joelle and I have been friends for over 26 years. Our husbands are close friends and our kids are close friends. We have raised our kids together, and now we will be grandparents together.

The Evans have welcomed their first grandbaby in Dec 2023, and Joelle will be welcoming hers in Oct of this year. We have been on one heck of a roller coaster ride. On to the next chapter!
