Hi Colleen, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory. 
My journey to empowering female small business owners began when I left the chaos and uncertainty of my childhood home at 17. Knowing I needed to be financially independent, I forged ahead without looking back. Over the years, I’ve purchased and built more than 7 homes in Arizona, climbed the corporate ladder, and soaked up wisdom from mentors and experiences. 

Each day, I challenge myself to leap forward, refusing to let fear hinder my pursuit of passion. As an entrepreneur, leader, author, podcast host, and CEO of three companies, I embrace the journey of growth and empowerment. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey has been far from smooth, marked by challenges that many women can relate to, from early childhood abuse to corporate sexual harassment. Despite these obstacles, I refused to let them define me or impede my success. Seeking out mentors became essential as I recognized the vast amount of learning needed to become a great leader. 

Through perseverance and resilience, I’ve navigated through failed business partnerships and the need to start over twice. This journey has taught me the invaluable lesson of never giving up. While pursuing your passion, you’re bound to encounter struggles and obstacles, but it’s all about how you rise after each fall and the perspective you maintain along the way.

In crafting B You B Strong, LLC, those simple yet powerful words became my guiding principle. With a lifelong dedication to physical fitness, honed since the age of 15 and marked by achieving a 1st-degree black belt, I’ve gleaned invaluable insights into strength. But true strength, I discovered, lies in embracing oneself fully – a journey that demanded far more effort. 

It’s this very journey that motivates me to encourage female small business owners to embark on their own path of self-discovery through therapy. Once they’re primed to launch their ventures, that’s where I come in. As a trusted guide, I specialize in helping female entrepreneurs craft precise plans, align their actions with their goals, and pave a path toward financial success. 

My approach is grounded in love and kindness, aimed not at changing anyone but rather at enhancing the innate beauty of their gifts and aiding them in monetizing their purpose. With unwavering clarity in their purpose and armed with the right tools and guidance, achieving revenue goals becomes a natural progression. 

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I’m someone who wears their heart on their sleeve, so it’s rare for me to shock anyone with tales of my past or my penchant for crazy, reckless adventures. While many already know of my love for skydiving, what might surprise them is my newfound passion for roller coasters! 

During a recent trip to Disneyland with our kids and grandkids, I seized the opportunity to slip away from the group for about 45 minutes. Why? To indulge in the exhilarating Incredicoaster, riding it repeatedly as a single rider! 

It’s a little-known secret that the wait time for single riders is often just 10 minutes. Feeling the wind rush through my hair, the butterflies fluttering in my stomach, and the sheer thrill of speed brings a radiant smile to my face and ignites my soul with excitement!
