Hidden Gems: Meet Bradley Patterson of Patterson Property Inspections

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bradley Patterson.

Hi Bradley, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We are Patterson Property Inspections, a family-owned business, and Arizona’s trusted residential and commercial property inspection company, with a unique start! After college, Brad traveled the world as a professional skydiver, completing over 10,000 jumps and ultimately leading him to meeting Kylie, who was in the medical field at the time. We joined forces in marriage and in business when we started Patterson Property Inspections a few years ago after a less than ideal inspection on our first home purchase together. We wanted to create a much better experience for customers and quickly found our way in the real estate industry. In addition, Brad has a strong background in construction, making the transition from the sky to the roof, a breeze. Kylie also has an MBA in marketing from ASU, so together we have grown this business to a team of expert inspectors who prides themselves on being professional, educational, and NOTHING BUT THE BEST!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As most small business owners know, rarely is there a smooth road at first, especially for us as we both came from careers in very different fields. We like to equate it to inspecting a fixer-upper home that was completed by an inexperienced person – full of challenges and surprises! Fortunately, like with our inspections, we are armed with all of the tools and knowledge to navigate difficult situations, even amongst the uncertainties that a new industry brought. There were many large inspection companies already in business for multiple years and real estate agents with well-established relationships with their current home inspector, making it a bit difficult to break in to. With perseverance, a strong marketing strategy, and providing quality inspections every single time, we have been able to surpass any barriers and grow our company faster than we imagined! We are so grateful to all of our clients and agent partners that have put their faith in us!

We are Arizona’s trusted residential and commercial property inspection company, a one-stop shop for all of your inspection needs! We offer new construction/third party inspections, warranty inspections, existing home inspections, pre-listing/seller’s inspections, single item inspections, commercial properties of all types as well as many additional services including sewer line camera inspections, termite inspections, pool/spa/drip/sprinkler and so more!

We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of the industry, using cutting-edge technology like thermal camera imaging on every inspection, at no extra cost. This technology lets us spot hidden moisture issues and insulation gaps that the naked eye might miss. In Arizona’s extreme climate, that can mean serious savings on energy bills and we feel that the inspection is not complete without it!

In addition, we offer bilingual inspections for our Spanish-speaking clients, giving the clients peace of mind as well as ensuring they fully understand the property they are looking at purchasing. We can accommodate unique situations of all types!
