Today we’d like to introduce you to Arturo Fernandez.
Hi Arturo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Orange County and raised in the Hawaiian Islands till I was about 14. At 14, my father expanded his construction business to the mainland and we settled down in Gilbert, AZ. I attended Mesquite Jr High & Mesquite High School.
After high school, I attended college & worked part-time at my father’s construction business. After working for my father for a few years I eventually made the choice to pursue a career in construction management as I discovered that I had a passion for the business, management & construction aspects of my father’s business. I really enjoyed getting to travel the country working for my father. I feel great pride in being able to contribute to the communities that I have had the pleasure of building.
As I continued to grow and continuously worked on bettering myself in my career, I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful soul, my wife. She has been one of my greatest supporters, contributes to my happiness & brings peace to my world. As I continued to grow in my career and had the pleasure of networking & working with some of the best minds in the construction business, I realized that I wanted to do more with my career & contribute more to my community.
I have the pleasure of being part of SDB Inc., an innovative and forward-thinking construction firm that has given me the opportunity to nourish my talents and give me the opportunity of following other passions such as Commercial & Residential Real Estate and being a dad.
I am part of the JPAR Vantage Commercial Broker firm, being a construction manager & Commercial Real Estate Broker has really given my life purpose and given me the opportunity to spend time with my wife and children as I really enjoy spending time with my kids, their sporting events, school events and getting to guide them in this world.
I am very happy that I can share with my family what it takes to develop a building project, how I contribute to my client’s investment portfolios and being able to find a family’s dream home.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest struggle I endured was not finishing my degree, as I have discovered that people tend to judge your worth from a piece of paper.
That has only pushed me to work not only harder but more intelligently towards achieving my goals.
As you know, we’re big fans of Commercial & Residential Real Estate Brokers. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a commercial & Residential Broker that provides the following services. Provide guidance on agreements & market prices and trends. Draft legal contracts and documents. Coordinate exchange of ownership.
Assist clients with negotiations (buying or selling). Attend network functions, events, workshops & seminars. Locate and evaluate properties for development, buying, or selling. Provide property management.
The thing that makes me stand out from all the other brokers in the world is that I have 14+ years of experience in construction management where I developed projects from 500K Tenant Improvement to 30 million dollars ground-up projects. My continued pursuit of self-development has given me the necessary skills to be the best.
The biggest thing that I am most proud of is my wife and kids. The way my wife has pursued a career, school, and also been a magnificent mother & to my two boys & princess. My kids have the tenacity and a sense of exploration that I truly admire. They are always helping me find my WHY and continued Devi-line to be the best in my industry.
The thing the readers should know about me (my brand) is that when it comes to managing your investment, I not only have the ability but also the necessary methods, network team & knowledge to exceed all my client’s expectations.
What’s next?
I believe we learn from our past, the present is a gift as it only lasts for but a brief moment & the future is what should drive us and scare us because of how big our dreams must be.
