Today we’d like to introduce you to Antione Anderson.
Hi Antione, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Antione Anderson — Building Legacy Through Faith, Finance, and Empowerment
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Antione Anderson’s entrepreneurial journey began under the influence of his mother, Tammy Meade, a passionate business owner dedicated to serving at-risk youth. After relocating to Phoenix in 2004, Antione joined her mission, helping grow her care agency to an impressive $20,000–$30,000 per week in revenue. That early exposure to business, service, and leadership planted seeds that would define his life’s work.
In 2011, Antione launched Directing Footsteps LLC, a purpose-driven company rooted in his deep belief in Jesus Christ. With a heart for discipleship and mentorship, Antione set out to help individuals maximize their potential and walk fully in their calling — both personally and professionally. His vision soon expanded from personal coaching into business consulting, where his very first client scaled to over $1 million in annual revenue within their first year working together.
By 2018, Antione recognized a deeper calling: to help families prepare for the inevitable while building a legacy that would last for generations. This led to a focused effort on financial empowerment, life planning, and wealth preservation — with a Kingdom mindset.
In 2020, alongside his wife Amanda, Antione planted 2:TEN Church in South Phoenix, located on 7th Street and Baseline. The church has become a beacon of hope and transformation, embodying the same values that guide his business — faith, integrity, and stewardship.
Today, Antione and his team continue to operate a thriving business that equips families, business owners, and organizations to build wealth, protect their assets, and position themselves for generational impact. His goal is nothing short of transforming the face of the financial industry — restoring trust, transparency, and truth.
Antione often refers to Deuteronomy 28, where God promises to make His people the head and not the tail, lenders and not borrowers. Through tangible, actionable principles rooted in biblical wisdom, he is helping others not only understand that truth — but live it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The Journey Hasn’t Always Been Smooth — But It’s Been Worth It
While Antione Anderson’s entrepreneurial journey has been marked by vision and impact, it hasn’t been without its share of challenges.
Starting young in business, he quickly learned that age often comes with a silent stigma — where others may dismiss your potential before giving you a chance. Gaining respect in rooms where experience was measured by years, not by insight or integrity, required him to lead with consistency, results, and unwavering faith.
Over time, Antione discovered that setbacks aren’t failures — they’re invitations to grow. Each obstacle sharpened his resilience and deepened his resolve. In the moments when people walked away, God showed up — not just to fill the gaps, but to reveal His power and presence. Those seasons shaped Antione’s faith in a profound way, teaching him to trust God as the true CEO of his life and business.
One of the greatest wrestles he’s faced is the tension between pastoring and leading in the business world. For a long time, he carried the weight of wondering if being successful in business somehow clashed with his calling in ministry. But through prayer and revelation, Antione came to understand that wealth is not the problem — misalignment is. When God remains at the center, business becomes a tool for Kingdom expansion, not a distraction from it.
Balancing business and family life has also been a learning curve. Antione shares openly that he had to learn it’s okay to rest — that there is no restoration without rest. Rest isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a sign of wisdom.
And like many entrepreneurs, he’s had to walk through seasons of separation — learning that not everyone who starts with you is meant to stay with you. Some relationships are seasonal, and that’s not rejection, it’s redirection. Growth requires movement, and movement often comes with discomfort. That’s why Antione reminds himself (and others) that we must become comfortable with being uncomfortable.
These lessons have refined his leadership, deepened his faith, and reinforced his commitment to helping others navigate both the highs and lows of building a life, a business, and a legacy rooted in truth.
