Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Miller.
Hi Anthony, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My background began as a technician in the Voice and Data department at Collins Communications. Over time, I worked my way up and eventually became Manager of Voice and Data. In that role, I worked on a wide range of infrastructure projects, including fiber deployments, structured cabling, phone systems, and network installations for schools, offices, recreation centers, a coal mine campus, and a college fiber project. After some time, a conflict of interest with the ownership of the company led me to pursue a new opportunity, which ultimately brought me to Arizona.
When I arrived, I noticed many areas were relying on outdated network equipment. With my previous experience, I saw an opportunity to upgrade the infrastructure and provide faster and more reliable internet to those communities. I spoke with my father about the opportunity, and he believed in the vision and agreed to invest. From there, we began building the network. Today, TREPIC Networks operates more than 35 towers and provides service across nine cities in Southern Arizona. TREPIC Networks continues to expand into new areas where we see strong opportunities to bring faster and more reliable internet to growing communities.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No journey is ever completely smooth; there are always obstacles along the way. When we first started expanding here, we had to quickly adapt to an entirely different environment. Coming from Wyoming, we were used to colder climates, so working in the Arizona heat while building towers and deploying equipment was a major adjustment. Even the construction styles of homes were different. In Wyoming, steep roofs are common to allow snow to slide off, while here many homes have flat roofs, which changes how installations are approached. Those kinds of differences required us to adapt quickly. But by staying persistent, learning from each challenge, and continuing to push forward, we were able to grow and overcome those obstacles.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At TREPIC Networks, we’re an Internet Service Provider focused on delivering fast, reliable high-speed wireless and fiber internet to homes and businesses that are often underserved. What truly sets us apart is our local, friendly, and professional customer support. Customers can call, text, or email us 24/7 and know they’re speaking with a real team that cares about their experience. From a brand perspective, I’m most proud of our commitment to using state-of-the-art technology to ensure the fastest and most reliable connections possible. We also love rewarding our customers, which is why we offer a unique referral program. Any customer who refers five people receives free internet service for life.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
One of the best parts about operating in the Valley is the opportunity. The region continues to grow rapidly, which means there are always new communities and customers who need reliable internet. The challenge, at times, is the fast pace. I personally appreciate the slower feel of small towns, but with that slower pace often comes fewer opportunities. The Valley strikes a unique balance; it moves quickly, but that growth also creates incredible potential.
