Hidden Gems: Meet Alexa Berghager of Hef’s Haus Coffee Cart,1912 Realty, and Luxe Social Hub

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexa Berghager.

Hi Alexa, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2024, I packed up my car and drove across the country to Phoenix, ready to build a life I was excited to wake up to each day. Since moving here, I’ve earned my real estate license and dove into the Valley’s vibrant market, while also working for a luxury social media marketing agency that allows me to combine creativity with strategy daily. Most recently, I opened my own coffee and matcha shop, bringing a piece of calm and community to Phoenix’s fast-growing scene. Each step has been driven by a love for creating spaces, both online and in person, where people can connect, feel inspired, and find something they love about this city I now call home.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Moving across the country on my own right after graduating was one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced. It meant leaving behind the comfort of family and friends and starting over in a new city where I didn’t know anyone. Building a real estate business, stepping into the luxury marketing space, and launching my coffee shop all came with their own learning curves, from navigating setbacks to staying motivated during the slow days. There were moments of doubt, but these challenges taught me resilience and the importance of trusting myself, reminding me that growth often happens in the spaces where you feel the most uncomfortable.

We’ve been impressed with your work, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My work feels like a reflection of all the things I love about living in Phoenix—community, creativity, and growth. I work as a Social Media Account Manager at Luxe Social Hub, managing client accounts and creating strategies that help luxury brands thrive online. I’m also a licensed real estate agent, focusing on helping others find homes and investment properties in the Valley, a place I’ve quickly grown to love. Most recently, I launched my own coffee and matcha shop, a dream turned reality that allows me to build a space for people to slow down and connect. Each role keeps me inspired in different ways, and I’m grateful to have found work that challenges me while allowing me to be a part of the vibrant, evolving energy of this city.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I’ve always loved the feeling of a productive morning, whether it’s an early coffee shop run, a sunrise walk, or diving into content planning before the day gets busy. I love connecting with people, whether it’s helping clients find their dream home or creating a space in my coffee shop where someone’s day can feel a little brighter. I’m inspired by creativity, good conversations, and the Arizona sunsets that remind me why I moved here. On the other hand, I’m not the biggest fan of the extreme summer heat (I’m still learning to embrace it!), negativity, or feeling stagnant. I believe in finding small joys in everyday moments and creating a life that feels aligned with what matters most to me.
