Today we’d like to introduce you to Zoe Schroeder.
Hi Zoe, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey into nutrition wasn’t a straight line. In college, I struggled with my own relationship with food and body image. I was confused by all the conflicting information out there and felt stuck in a cycle of overthinking, under-eating, over-exercising, and trying to micromanage my body without real guidance. That frustration led me to change majors and dive into the science of nutrition, not just to help myself, but to help others avoid the confusion and stress I experienced.
I went on to become a Registered Dietitian and earn my Master’s in Sports Nutrition, along with certifications as a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). But even with all that education, I realized most people don’t need more “rules,” they need clarity, confidence, and a strategy that works with their life, not against it.
That’s why I launched Zoë Schroeder Nutrition: to help women achieve lasting fat loss without restriction, heal their relationship with food, and finally stop starting over. What started as a one-woman operation has evolved into a growing team and a broader mission: to make personalized, sustainable nutrition coaching more accessible to the people who need it most. Watching that vision come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road, but it’s been worth every bump.
In the early days (and even still), I was working around the clock, coaching clients before and after my full-time job, creating content late at night, and trying to build a business from scratch. I started my Instagram with zero followers and had to learn how to grow an online presence while juggling everything else. I launched multiple programs, courses, and offers that didn’t gain much traction, and there were plenty of moments where I questioned if it was ever going to work.
On top of the business challenges, I went through an incredibly difficult year personally, one that tested me emotionally in ways I hadn’t expected. But even through that season, I kept showing up. For my clients, for my mission, and for the vision I had for this business.
What’s kept me going is my deep belief in the work I do. Even when growth was slow, I knew I was making a difference for the women I was coaching, and that made every long day worth it. I stayed committed, kept learning, and continued to refine my approach. Now, nearly five years into business, I’m incredibly proud of how far things have come and even more excited about where we’re headed.
We’ve been impressed with Zoe Schroeder Nutrition LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Zoë Schroeder Nutrition is an online nutrition coaching business designed to help women achieve sustainable fat loss without restriction. I work primarily with women who are tired of dieting, frustrated by conflicting nutrition advice, and ready to finally understand how to fuel their bodies in a way that aligns with their goals, and their real lives.
I specialize in personalized, evidence-based coaching that goes beyond just meal plans or calorie targets. My clients learn why they’re doing what they’re doing, which builds lasting confidence and consistency. Whether it’s through one-on-one coaching, or one of my other programs, everything I offer is built around education, empowerment, and long-term results.
What sets me apart is the combination of my credentials (as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) with the lived experience of having been through the struggle myself. I understand the science and the mindset, and my coaching reflects both. I’m not here to hand out rigid rules or shame people into change. I’m here to meet clients where they are, give them the tools they need, and support them as they build a life they feel proud of.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is the community and trust that’s grown around this work. Clients know I care deeply, not just about their results, but about their entire experience. And now, nearly five years in, I’m expanding my team and accepting insurance to make this support more accessible than ever. I want you to know that sustainable fat loss is possible, and you don’t have to sacrifice your favorite foods or your joy to get there.
What are your plans for the future?
The future of Zoë Schroeder Nutrition is all about expansion with purpose.
Right now, we have four incredible Registered Dietitians on staff (and counting!) helping clients across the country through evidence-based, personalized coaching. We recently began accepting insurance, which has been a huge step toward making this kind of support more accessible and affordable for more people. I continue to work with private clients myself, but I’m also stepping more into leadership, supporting and mentoring my team as they grow into their own unique coaching styles and specialties.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to expand into more speaking engagements, lead in-person retreats, and continue building a business that blends personal transformation with professional impact. I want Zoë Schroeder Nutrition to be known not just for helping women achieve fat loss, but for empowering them with the tools and confidence to sustain it for life.
