Hi Victor, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I am an entrepreneur at heart with an Engineering Degree and a Master’s in Business from ASU. We have lived in our lovely Phoenix for more than 14 yrs. I worked for over 25 yrs for multibillion dollars global companies before I could acquire Aristotle Air more than 3 years ago. For my previous employers in the corporate world, I traveled the world, sailed a few oceans, supported the fishing industry in Alaska & supported the power generation plants in the Caribbean and Central America. I was dedicated to technical customer service and sales. Based on my background, It was a logical move to get into an industry on my own that would require technical knowledge of equipment and customer service, and sales. I also wanted a robust business, and a recession-resistant HVAC business in Phoenix, AZ, was the answer!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have personally lost many nights of sleep over the last 3 years. Still, I haven’t regretted getting into this business because the satisfaction of helping our community during the hot days of summer is what motivates us at Aristotle Air. It has NOT been a smooth road for sure, but the satisfaction has been incredible. I don’t even like to bring it back, but to start: the pandemic with all its challenges. Secondly, equipment and materials shortages create a business environment that is impossible to predict, inefficient, and exhausting, followed by regular price increases and lasting with the industry struggle of shortage of qualified labor. As a business owner, you have to oversee and manage every single aspect of the business with all its variants and challenges.

Aristotle Air has specialized in the valley’s residential and light commercial air conditioning and heating since 2007; We are known for being the most cost-effective HVAC solution for our customers. We don’t believe in pressure sales or upsells. We offer high-quality products to maintain or improve home/business comfort. We conduct our business professionally and ethically to keep growing our customer base.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The industry is going towards more energy-efficient, quieter, and more sophisticated HVAC systems. In the near future, there will be more public area air quality regulations for schools, restaurants, and shopping malls, and developers will start offering new constructions with these existing products. At the same time, homeowners are more aware of the importance of indoor air quality and the industry offerings in that segment.
