Today we’d like to introduce you to Tracey Harris
Hi Tracey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a passion for helping others, especially children. From early on, I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of families navigating the challenges that come with raising a child with special needs. ABA quickly became my calling because of its ability to create real, meaningful change—not just for the child, but for the entire family.
I’ve been in this field for over 16 years, working in homes, clinics, and schools, supporting families facing some of the toughest challenges, from aggressive behaviors to communication barriers. Through all those experiences, I saw firsthand what worked, what didn’t, and where the gaps in the field were. I knew I wanted to do more—to create a company that truly prioritized high-quality, ethical, and compassionate care while also supporting the professionals providing the services. That’s what led me to start Infinite Therapy Services—where possibilities are endless!
My background includes a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Sacramento State and a Master’s in Special Education with a concentration in ABA from Texas Tech. I also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in ABA and am a licensed Behavior Analyst in Arizona. But beyond the degrees and credentials, my driving force has always been making a lasting impact.
Starting my own business was the natural next step. I wanted to build something that not only helped children and families but also fostered a positive and supportive environment for BCBAs and RBTs. The field of ABA is constantly evolving, and I’m passionate about pushing it forward—whether that’s through improving service delivery, mentoring new professionals, or advocating for better systems of care.
At the end of the day, this work is about people. It’s about giving families hope, empowering kids, and ensuring that ABA is done the right way. That’s why I do what I do, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has not been a smooth ride but I think that’s just part of the process when you’re building something from the ground up. When I transitioned from being a BCBA to a business owner, I knew there would be challenges, but I don’t think anything truly prepares you for the weight of responsibility that comes with running a company.
One of the biggest struggles was self-doubt. When you step into a leadership role, especially as a business owner, there’s this voice in the back of your head asking, Am I making the right decisions? Do I have what it takes to lead a team? What if I fail? I had spent years mastering the clinical side of ABA, but suddenly I was making business decisions that had real consequences—not just for me, but for my employees and the families we serve. There were moments where I questioned whether I was capable of handling it all.
Another challenge was balancing the clinical side with the business side. I got into this field because I love working with children and families, but running a business meant shifting some of my focus to things like insurance billing, staffing, policies, compliance, and financial management—areas that weren’t exactly covered in my ABA coursework! There was definitely a learning curve, and I had to push past my own doubts and invest time in learning those aspects of the business to ensure we were set up for success. Therefore hiring the right team members was essential.
Being a minority business owner brought its own set of struggles. There were moments where I felt like I had to work twice as hard to be taken seriously—whether it was securing contracts, building relationships in the industry, or accessing resources that weren’t always readily available. The lack of representation in leadership roles within the ABA field meant that I didn’t always have a clear roadmap to follow. I had to learn how to advocate for myself and create my own seat at the table.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

What matters most to you? Why?
On a personal level, my son is my greatest motivation and my biggest inspiration. Becoming a parent reshaped my perspective on life, deepened my sense of purpose, and reinforced my commitment to making a difference. Every decision I make, whether in business or in daily life, is guided by the desire to create a world where he—and children like him—have every opportunity to thrive.
What matters most to me is creating meaningful impact—both in my personal life and in the work I do. As a BCBA and now a business owner, my focus has always been on improving the lives of children and families by providing high-quality, individualized ABA services. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and that belief drives every decision I make for my company, Infinite Therapy Services.
