Meet Toby Love of KJR Concrete Pumping

Today we’d like to introduce you to Toby Love.

Toby, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve been doing Concrete construction for 20+ years in California, where I was born and raised. I moved myself and family to Arizona last year, and we started our own Concrete Pumping business.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s taken off since day one and hasn’t slow down, even in the middle of the pandemic.

We’ve been impressed with KJR Concrete Pumping, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
KJR to me is more than just a business name. It’s the reason I do what I do. KJR is the initials of each one of my kids. We are family-owned and operated. We pump concrete for residential and commercial job sites. I do all the work myself, from start to finish.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Get yourself out there. Stand out from everyone else. Have a great attitude. I literally drove around the entire valley and dropped my business cards off at every construction site I saw. You have to grind & hustle. It won’t just come to you, you have to go out and get it.
