Today we’d like to introduce you to Tina Lorenz.

Hi Tina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Thanks, I’m excited to be here.

And my story has SO many layers to it. So to keep things simple, let’s start with the “official” version—then I’m happy to go into more specifics with you!

Tina Lorenz is an unlikely success story: a purple-haired grandmother who created a 7-figure business with no previous experience when she was already past 50.

Tina’s programs teach timeless copywriting and mindset mastery methods that transform the lives, businesses, and realms of possibility of her students and clients. She has even been dubbed “The Queen of Copy” and the “Millionaire Maker” by legendary marketer Frank Kern.

But it wasn’t always that way. And there is more to her mission.

On her own since 17, a domestic violence incident in her 40’s left Tina and her two children homeless – and nearly took her life. Being stalked for years, and with all the odds stacked against her, Tina stood strong – determined to find a path forward for her family. It didn’t take long for Tina to bring her first grand slam to life.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Absolutely not!

The first was that when I started my business I had been on my own since 17, had NO experience, degree, or training, had never been paid to write anything, had only recently discovered what copywriting was, AND…was already past 50.

I also had no tech skills and no idea how to have an online presence or website.

And of course along the way came the “Google slap” that immediately stopped any referral traffic, a recession in 2008, the pandemic, and many other life circumstances like my husband’s heart attacks and triple bypass.

The thing is if we own our identity and become the person who can “do the thing”–we also learn how to leverage our skills to not only survive but thrive, no matter what else is happening in the world.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Tina Lorenz?
I’m known as the preeminent luxury copywriting mentor, inspired mindset shifter, and transformational business coach.

My business started as a freelance copywriter and marketing strategist in 2005 but has grown now into multiple coaching programs, as well as my bespoke 1:1 mentoring for exceptional entrepreneurs past 50 who are ready to move into the next chapter of their lives, by creating their own legacy programs or services.

What sets me apart is the inclusion of the neuroscience of mindset, which I call the “Sacred Science™” of mindset, as well as the spiritual dimension. I believe in a greater power outside of ourselves, which people can identify and decide for themselves. But for me, it is a Divine source.

This has nothing to do with organized religion, or even believing exactly as I do, but it has everything to do with believing there is a purpose for our lives on earth that extends into a spiritual realm. For me, that source is God. But it really is whatever each person believes and identifies as that source for themselves.

I refer to the power of this Divine guidance as a calling, because all of this came to me through what I call “Divine DM’s™” or personal downloads of inspiration and specific guidance meant specifically for me.

I believe this direct communication is available for anyone who believes it is possible and takes the time and focuses to connect to it through meditation and prayer. That’s actually how all of my programs were developed, including what we refer to as our “Celestial Sherpa®” practice.

A Sherpa is both a guide and an emissary, both for yourself, in your business, and for those each of us impacts with our business or services.

These elements definitely set me apart in how I teach and connect with my students and clients.

I’m proud to be a global spokesperson and guide for other Baby Boomers who have had successful business lives but now want to create a dynamic and potent next chapter. They aren’t going to settle for sitting on a beach with a frosty drink and calling it the final chapter… they may still want to travel and enjoy all the world has to offer, but that lifestyle freedom is closely aligned with creating a profitable and impactful business or service!

I’m all about reinventing and redefining retirement, even considering it an anti-retirement movement. Those of us who are 50+ still have so much wisdom and experience to share and help others with!

I have to admit I’m also proud that I can drive my mobile office anywhere we want to go or work from! I have a custom mobile office built on a Freightliner heavy-duty truck chassis. My husband is legally blind so I do all the driving.

Yes, it looks like a fancy semi! I even have a commercial driver’s license, which is also kind of humorous, because my joke is if this marketing gig doesn’t work out, I can always drive a truck! So far so good though, after almost two decades online.

The mobile office is 45′ long, with a 450 HP Mercedes diesel engine, and I tow a 4-door Jeep Rubicon behind it. It’s fun to see the looks on people’s faces when they realize I am the driver!

The RV brand is called Renegade, which also was the inspiration for my revolutionary anti-retirement movement with The Renegade Boomer.

We love our home base in Tucson, and we also love traveling with our 4 dogs, because I can work from anywhere. We provide our own internet, as well as all the comforts of luxury travel. It’s great!

But most of all I feel so blessed to be able to impact and transform lives. I have multiple levels of access to accomplish this, from my entry-level Authentic Copy copywriting program to my Accelerated Entrepreneur mentoring program, my Divine Money School 42-day prosperity plan, and my 1:1 bespoke mentoring, the Velocity Intensive.

Networking and finding a mentor can have a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I’m so glad you asked this question! I think it is essential to have mentors along the way, as well as actively networking. They have both worked very well for me, and in fact, were instrumental in my rapid ascension as a copywriter and marketing strategist.

My advice is to find a mentor who is successfully doing what you would like to do, invest whatever it takes to work with them, and do everything they tell you to do, especially the things that seem counterintuitive! Why? Because if you already knew how and what to do, you’d already be doing it.

Seriously, I did that from the beginning. It’s very difficult to make quantum leaps forward in your business all by yourself, especially if you are an entrepreneur who usually works alone. You need to NOT be the smartest or richest person in the room, but continually elevate and be challenged by those who are already where you’d like to go spiritually, emotionally, and financially.

I invested in my first networking and training event when I was only about five months into my first steps as a freelance copywriter, with one of the greatest legends in copywriting, Gary Bencivenga. It was in NYC at the St. Regis, where the rooms were approximately $700 a night. Plus the event was $5,000. Gary didn’t take credit cards, and I was a brand-new beginner with no money!

But I knew it could be a game changer to be there–so I found a way by setting my course, making the decision that I would indeed be there, and doing whatever it took to make that my reality! That one decision was the springboard for my copywriting career. I did some powerful networking and left that event not only smarter but with six figures in projects booked. That initial $5,000 investment turned into approximately $500,000 in revenue my very first year as a copywriter, plus being mentored by the great Gary Bencivenga who also became a personal friend.

That’s why I say working with a mentor is a smart investment, not an expense. When you have the mindset of expansive growth and a pathway to get there, you can accelerate far beyond what you may have thought was possible.
