Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born in London, England, and began my career with five years of service in the City of London Police before emigrating to Canada, where I spent 14 years with the Vancouver Police Department. My time in law enforcement instilled a strong foundation in service, negotiation, leadership, and resilience—skills that became invaluable in my transition to real estate.

After launching my real estate career in White Rock, British Columbia, I quickly rose to become one of the top-producing agents in my board. Over the next 25 years, I built a thriving business by embracing innovative marketing, consistent personal growth, and professional coaching. My success in real estate ultimately led me to the United States, where I earned my real estate license in Arizona. In 2017, I was invited to join Tom Ferry International as a Business & Success Coach.

Since that time, I have coached real estate professionals across North America and internationally, holding them accountable to their highest potential and helping them achieve sustained growth and success in a competitive industry.

I currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona, with my beautiful wife, Tina Marie Hannaford, a successful real estate agent. Away from coaching, I enjoy life as a proud dog dad and spend my free time riding my Harley.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
They say the best way to move forward in life is to burn the boats—eliminating any chance of retreat so the only option is progress. I lived this philosophy when I walked away from a secure government career, complete with benefits and safety nets, to pursue real estate—before I had even passed the licensing exam.

Going ‘all in’ has always served me well, because when retreat is no longer an option, success becomes the only path. This is the mindset I encourage my coaching clients to embrace: do something every day that stretches you beyond your comfort zone, because that is where true growth happens.
