Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachelle Faniel.

Hi Rachelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started this business to help me gain financial freedom and to help set my kids up for college. As a single mother of three, having multiple streams of income is very important to me. In order to find financial freedom, I had to figure out what would bring me joy. I knew that I loved making scents and figured making candles wouldn’t be too hard. I was so wrong. I tried to make my first candle, which did not turn out well. In fact, it was a disaster. But I didn’t want to give up. So, I turned the candle into a wax melt and started selling them. Once I had a little more time and gained more confidence and knowledge, I tried the candles again. It took me about 2 1/2 months to get everything right. But once I got that challenge completed, I decided to try something else. That something else has now grown to body products such as body mists. I am constantly growing and challenging myself because being creative gives me freedom and peace.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road at all. It has been quite busy and tiring but I’m not complaining because I love it. I still work a full-time night job, so when I have orders, I try to fulfill them before I head to bed. I think the hardest obstacle has been trying to please everyone. I’ve finally realized that everyone may not like my items and that is ok.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are known for our custom blended items. We create custom scents for our clients and put the fragrances into candles, incense body sprays etc. We have now opened up a brick-and-mortar location that houses other small businesses. We love helping our fellow entrepreneurs exceed their goals. What sets us apart from other brands is that we work hard to make the perfect blends for our customers and clients. We are focused on providing scents that are extraordinary to the senses. We will have our grand opening celebration on June 3rd. This will allow our vendors to be seen and also give customers new and old to find out about what we do and maybe even create custom scents for themselves.

How do you think about luck?
I’m not one that really believes in luck. If that was the case, I would’ve been a millionaire a long time ago. I do believe that my hard work and skills are being noticed and appreciated. I also believe that when you surround yourself with people who believe in and see your vision, you are able to accomplish all that you set out to. Having a pure heart and mind will be better than having luck any day.
