Exploring Life & Business with Noah Nemgar of Limb Lab

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Nemgar

Noah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I became interested in the field at a young age as I have a family member who experienced limb loss. Seeing his progression with the advancements in technology and the care he received from his multi-disciplinary team intrigued me to pursue a career in prosthetics.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As I mentioned, I knew that this was the direction and career I wanted to pursue. It is a long road that involved 4 years of undergraduate education, followed by 1 year of technical/fabrication school, 1 year of clinical development, 2 years of Masters level courses, and finally a 2 year residency position. Once this has been completed, multiple certification board exams are required to practice. It is something that you need to be passionate about as it is a long process.

As you know, we’re big fans of Limb Lab . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
At Limb Lab we specialize in creating high end custom prosthetic and orthotics devices for individuals who experience limb loss/limb difference and various illnesses and injuries that affect their ability to be active and mobile.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
To cherish and be present with family and friends when you are together.
