Exploring Life & Business with Michelle Page of Caring Senior Transitions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Page.

Hi Michelle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
In my personal life and career, I have always enjoyed helping others. One of my friends owned a group home for seniors and suggested that I focus more on helping families find assisted living. I took her advice and found that I was good at identifying care solutions for aging seniors.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I wouldn’t say a smooth road. When I first started out in this business I started another company with a business partner. His business practices did not align with mine.

I had to start up again on my own. I wasn’t sure how it would go. I was happy to find that there were nurses that I established relationships with that wanted me to continue to help their patients. Like any service business, I have to constantly tell people how I can help. Senior Care is a fast-growing, moving, and changing environment. We have to be able to be flexible in the always-changing environment.

We’ve been impressed with Caring Senior Transitions, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Caring Senior Transitions is a senior placement agency. We help Seniors find assisted living and memory care in senior communities and in smaller group homes. We are known for taking the time to find the perfect care solution for all types of different care needs and budgets.

We listen and put a lot of time into finding care solutions. My daughter, Samantha, and I work together to find the best care solutions. We always think about solutions as if it was someone we were helping in our own family. We help seniors in Arizona. We also have resources outside of Arizona if families need them.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim.
