Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle LeBlanc-Peetz.

Hi Michelle, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
At 52, this is my 4th career. Every career choice has revolved around helping women look, feel, and live better. I love helping women! After 13 years in the health and fitness industry I decided to pivot. I jumped into esthetics school and graduated in April 2018. When I opened my skincare business in June of 2018, I knew I wanted to incorporate my years of experience in health and fitness into my esthetics studio. Ensō Skincare & Wellness was born.

Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Starting a new business is always challenging. Deciding to go solo with zero clients from day one created extra challenges. You have to go out and create the business for yourself. I kept training my health and fitness clients on the side and drove for Door Dash for 18 months to help generate income while I was growing. There were a lot of days I felt worried and unsure. Having a supportive spouse was invaluable. His belief in me and his support gave me room to create my success.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Aesthetics is a crowded space. What makes Ensō stands out is our approach to skin and skin aging.

I’m not “anti-aging”; aging is a gift to be celebrated. Not everyone has the opportunity to grow old. Wholistic skin revision and natural age management treatments are my wheelhouse. I specialize in advanced facials and age management treatments that turn back time and restore skin health without the use of injectables. The focus is on restoring the skin to its optimal state of health and inspire the skin to behave like it did when it was young. We do this using specialized treatments and home care products designed to work with and mimic the body’s natural chemistry to restore the skin to its youthful state. Health and Wellness are one of my core values, and a youthful ageless appearance is more than skin deep. What good is looking youthful if you feel “old”? My role as an integrative, holistic esthetician is to empower you to embody the process youthfully outside and in. Your lifestyle and your mindset are also key elements to youthful aging and living with vitality. For clients that are open to it, I offer lifestyle and wellness coaching to support them.

What changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
As a company we will continue to stay on top of treatments that create real change within the skin from a holistic perspective.
Industry wise The “pro-aging” movement is growing as is the science behind longevity. We have so much control over how we age. It is our mission to help women live their most youthful lives outside and in.
