Exploring Life & Business with Linda Eskridge of Couture Business Gifting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Linda Eskridge. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Linda Eskridge, started Couture Business Gifting when she noticed that the unforgettable gesture of gifting could be used as a powerful tool to enhance customer experience and sales in every business sector including real estate. So many people JUST use gifting to show appreciation at the end of a business transaction, but Linda sees gifting as having much more potential.

Linda uses the “art of gifting” very early in the sales and marketing process to generate leads, convert leads, and thank referrals; all of which improve the bottom line for hundreds of professionals in Arizona and beyond. With a bias toward action, she prides herself in providing an over-the-top customer experience for each of her valued clients. She has made business gifting her life-long mission to help her clients take their own businesses to new heights using her strategic and proven gifting techniques.

The “Couture” business name comes from her admiration of her mother and her mother’s impeccable talent for designing upscale couture dresses for well-to-do women. Proud of her mother, she wanted to carry on the legacy of “couture” in the name of her very own business. Today, I help my clients create a strategic gifting plan alongside their customer experience program – If my clients don’t have a customer experience program already in place we create both simultaneously.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Yes, there have been bumps in the road, as I am not one that likes to do what everyone else is doing I want to be outside the box – I guess you could say… It took me a few years to figure out exactly what that looked like.

When I realized that businesses didn’t really gift through the whole customer experience just at the end of the transaction – I knew I needed to educate them on the importance of creating a stand-out experience from the beginning and how gifting can help them do this.

As you know, we’re big fans of Couture Business Gifting. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Couture Business Gifting is a luxury boutique-style gifting company. I work with small to large businesses on all their gifting needs. I do have ready-to-go gifts but most of what I do are custom gifts for the person it is being given to.

When a client comes to me the first thing I ask is, what is your budget so I can design a gift that is going to fit within their budget, second, I start asking questions about the recipient, what they like/don’t like, and from there I create the gift. What set me apart is the personalization I can do on gifts and my passion for gifting and showing clients different ways of using gifting in their marketing. This is a company I have built from the ground up therefore I can give my clients what they want with no restrictions (within reason).

I can help businesses in all industries, I am not limited to just one industry.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
When I was 18 and my mom and dad and I went to Solvang and San Diego, in San Diego had a hotel on the beach.

My dad and I sat on the beach and watched the surfing competition. We had so much fun as neither of us knew anything about surfing but we knew when someone did a great job.
