Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Vida.
Hi Laura, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As a Realtor and Interior Designer, I began my feng shui studies in 1994, becoming certified in BTB Feng Shui and broadening my education with a certification in Compass School Feng Shui. I developed my skills as a geomancer (reader of earth energies) and a dowser. In 2011, I received my Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology. Today, I combine Feng Shui and interior design with Spiritual Psychology to help people make lasting changes-both inside and out- that support their dreams.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One thing I witnessed repeatedly at the beginning of my practice was that feng shui always worked, but only to a point. I found that if my clients held negative, unconscious beliefs about what they deserved, those beliefs would interfere with the feng shui, eventually attracting the same old patterns. This led me to obtain a degree in Spiritual Psychology so I could help clients work from a clear internal place before attempting feng shui. This way, what they attract will be lasting and in alignment with their true desires.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am known for my ability to both clear and balance a space physically and energetically. I read homes and land, and can tell what is happening in my clients’ lives and where they are stuck.
I have been immersed in the study of aesthetics and energetics for more than 30 years and have honed my skills to a level where I can diagnose and treat a home, parcel, or person with accuracy. I have been in thousands of homes with hundreds of clients, and I know what makes someone thrive in their environment and what doesn’t.
I am most proud of cracking the code as to why feng shui can only take you so far.
I work mostly online via Zoom or FaceTime and offer many resources on my website to help anyone get started. I am currently writing my first feng shui book.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I have always been lucky in homes and real estate. Yes, I focus and work hard, but there is an unseen element I was born with that has brought me to great success working in and with homes.
