Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendra Harman.
Hi Kendra, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started old soul as a way to help pass time during the pandemic. I was still working overtime in the psychiatric hospitals in Arizona at the time and I desperately needed a creative outlet. I had strange working hours and was left up to my own devices. Well, my lovely cat and I. What started out for a love of old and historic, turned into a fire of a passion, and now a profitable small business and brand! I hope to continue to teach other lovers of old and historic finds, fits your exact taste and style. What I love about vintage and antique is there really is a style of expression out there for everyone. Someone who is a Maximilian with color, or more modern and minimal. Shopping secondhand is sustainable, affordable, and so pleasing! Especially when you are supporting a small business of fellow vintage lovers, who are working hard on curating the best finds for their community!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My biggest challenge aside from the economy, is combatting my own self and sticking with this every single day. CHOOSING to continue to grow, pursue hard things, and put myself out there in an online space that can be incredibly unforgiving. To navigate what it means to be a female entrepreneur, to own the online space, all while still maintaining an authentic connection with your peers and customers.
We’ve been impressed with Old Soul Revival , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

What does success mean to you?
Success looks different for everyone. Some look at it through the lens of money. Other through their social media network and following. To me, being successful in a competitive selling retail space, I define success as getting to know my customers and their stories. Getting to know other local small businesses round en, in or out of my thrifting community. To uplift and encourage those in this space. I’ve found success in my peers successes , their wins, and their lessons in business. This community means more to me than all the rest of it
