Today we’d like to introduce you to Kasia Kamasinska.
Hi Kasia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
In my twenties, I felt like I was living in the body of an eighty-eight-year-old. Each morning, I would wake up with a crushing headache that never seemed to leave me. The inflammation in my brain was so heavy, it felt like it stole pieces of me—my clarity, my memory, my energy. Some mornings I had to literally throw myself out of bed, because if I didn’t, I might not move at all. Deep down, I knew the Lyme bacteria had made its way into my brain, causing so many of the neurological struggles I carried.
I spent years going through scan after scan, blood work after blood work, test after test. Almost always, I was told, “Everything looks great. You look healthy.” But I didn’t feel healthy. My body told a different story. It wasn’t until I found functional medicine doctors that I finally began to uncover the real root causes of my pain and exhaustion. Anyone who truly knew me during those years could see that I was far from thriving.
The truth is, I’ve been given more diagnoses than I can even remember. Lyme disease, Hashimoto’s, adrenal fatigue, ulcers, hormonal imbalances—the list seemed endless. I battled mold toxicity, heavy metals, and perhaps the most shocking of all, parasites. The amount and size of what I released from my body were beyond what I could have ever imagined. And yet, it gave me something I now see as a gift: the wisdom to recognize these things in others, to discern what is food and what is living inside us, and to help guide people through what I’ve already walked myself.
In 2016, my body finally collapsed. For a moment, it felt like it was over. But in truth, that breaking point became my rebirth. It was the place where I surrendered, where I turned fully toward God, and where I began to rebuild my health—slowly, gently, step by step. Healing was not quick, nor was it easy. But it was sacred.
Today, I can say I am about ninety percent better. There is still that last ten percent I continue to peel back and tend to with patience. But now, approaching my forties, I feel the energy, vitality, and joy I should have felt in my twenties. My life feels like it has unfolded in reverse—and what a gift that is.
This is why I feel so deeply connected to those who come to me with complex health stories. My own healing was so layered and complicated that when someone sits in front of me, I can often feel and sense exactly what they’re going through. I don’t just listen to their story with my ears—I listen with my whole being. My intuition, guided by divine love, often reveals things they themselves haven’t yet put into words. Many leave in awe, not because of me, but because of what can be unlocked when someone listens with both knowledge and heart.
I also carry a special love for those who are neurodiverse. Being so close to loved ones in my life who are on the spectrum, have ADHD, or walk other neurodiverse paths has given me a deep empathy and understanding. When neurodiverse clients come to me, I can see them, feel them, and meet them in ways that honor their uniqueness. That connection is sacred to me, and I believe it’s one of the many ways God prepared me to do this work.
Over the years, my lifestyle has shifted as well. For a long time, I lived in an 80/20 balance—80% nourishing foods and 20% meals shared with friends and family. It kept me going while I built my strength. But about two years ago, I fully committed. I stopped drinking alcohol, embraced a farm-to-table way of living, and now eat as clean and vibrant as I can. Yes, I even bring my own food to gatherings. Some may see it as embarrassing, but I see it as being a light for those who are ready to see. And if people talk, I smile—at least I give them something to talk about.
This love for true nourishment, prevention, and healing is what inspired me to open Healing of the Body and Mind in Peoria, Arizona. Our spa is more than a place for services—it is a sanctuary of love and care. We offer massage, cupping, colon hydrotherapy, infrared sauna, and more, but the true medicine is in the heart behind it. Every practitioner here leads with compassion, holding space so that each person who walks through our doors leaves feeling lighter, freer, and more whole.
Looking back, I see how every struggle, every tear, every sleepless night was preparing me for this. My hardships became my wisdom. My pain became my purpose. And my healing became the light I now carry for others.
I believe prevention is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. That’s why I feel called not only to guide adults, but also to educate the younger generation—including neurodiverse children—about the beauty and importance of caring for their bodies early on.
I am grateful for the path God has led me on. My story is living proof that healing is possible, even when it feels impossible. And now, through Healing of the Body and Mind, it is my honor to walk beside others as they begin their own sacred journey back to health, wholeness, and love.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My path hasn’t been easy, but it has been sacred — a journey through pain, resilience, and the deepest kind of healing. For over 13 years, I lived with constant migraines, sleepless nights, and the weight of symptoms that touched every part of my body — neurological, physical, and emotional. There were days when even getting through the simplest moments felt like climbing mountains.
Doctors often called me an anomaly, because my body didn’t follow the rules they were used to. At first, that was frustrating, but in time I came to see it as a reflection of my sensitivity and uniqueness. My body has its own wisdom — and learning to honor it, instead of fight it, has been a deeply humbling experience.
Through it all, I never gave up. I chose, again and again, to walk forward in faith, guided by God, and held by an inner strength I didn’t always know I had. And now, looking back, I wouldn’t trade this path for anything — because it has given me wisdom, compassion, and the ability to help others find their way through their own healing journeys.
I am not a victim of illness — I am a victor. Every parasite I flushed, every flare-up I endured, every day I chose to rise instead of stay down has been part of my initiation into deeper wisdom. I’ve lost count of how many battles my body has fought, but I know each one shaped me into who I am today. This path reminded me that healing isn’t always light — sometimes it’s dark, because we must go so deep within that our ego has to die. My ego did, a long time ago, and that’s why I can hold a safe space for anyone — no matter their politics, religion, or life experience. Judgment has no place here.
Discovering that some of my ancestors were medicine women only deepened my sense of purpose. It gave me the confidence to trust the wisdom I carry inside, to know that I am walking in their footsteps, continuing a sacred legacy of healing. I see myself as the grandmother spirit — here to guide, nurture, and mentor, especially young women, but also anyone who feels called. My role is to be an example of what it means to live with strength, honesty, kindness, and love — not in competition, but in community; not in judgment, but in acceptance. And above all, I stand for the truth. Always.
This is the heart I carry into Healing of the Body and Mind. Every person who comes through the doors may arrive as a stranger, but they leave feeling like family. Because true healing isn’t just about treatments — it’s about being seen, cared for, and reminded that we all carry the power to heal within.
Every detail of the spa reflects this devotion. We make our own soap with organic bases and pure essential oils, so even the smallest touch on your skin supports your well-being. The cups we offer are simple paper cups, but the water they hold has been hydrogenated and enriched with electrolytes to restore balance from within. Even the toilet paper is bleach-free — not bamboo, since bamboo processing can actually be toxic when you look deeper — because I believe that everything should support, not harm, the body.
The massage cream is organic, the herbs we use are rooted in Chinese medicine, and treatments are paired with essential oils, gua sha, cupping, ultrasound, PEMF, and infrared light therapy. Every single tool and practice is chosen with care and integrity, so when you come to the spa, you truly feel cared for — body, mind, and spirit.
Healing of the Body and Mind is more than a spa. It is a sanctuary created with love, where everything is done in the right way — the way my heart, my faith, and my journey have taught me. And when you step inside, you will feel that care in every detail.
Thank you 💜💜💜
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Healing of the Body and Mind is more than a spa—it is a sanctuary for holistic wellness, guided by compassion, intuition, and deep understanding of the human body and spirit. We specialize in colon hydrotherapy, massage, ion foot detox sauna, and other personalized treatments designed to meet each person exactly where they are on their healing journey. What makes us truly unique is our heart-driven, individualized approach: there are no set protocols, because every body is different, and every week may call for something new.
Our approach is informed not only by years of professional experience but also by my personal journey. Having faced Lyme disease, Hashimoto’s, adrenal fatigue, mold and heavy metal exposure, and even the astonishing challenge of clearing parasites from my own body, I understand firsthand the complexity of healing. I have navigated years of brain inflammation, neurological issues, and extreme fatigue—yet I rose each day with determination to heal and now guide others through similar journeys. My deep empathy and divinely guided intuition allow me to connect with clients on a level that goes beyond conventional care, especially those with complex or neurodiverse needs.
At Healing of the Body and Mind, our team is devoted to creating a safe, nurturing space where clients can release physical and emotional blockages, restore balance, and learn to care for themselves in a way that lasts. We emphasize prevention, mindful nutrition, and lifestyle practices that support long-term health, and we are proud to teach clients that healing comes from within. Every person who walks through our doors is treated as a unique soul on their own path, and our mission is to empower, educate, and inspire each individual to feel vibrant, balanced, and whole.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is holding space for people to truly see themselves, to feel deeply heard, and to reconnect with their own body, mind, and spirit. I care about guiding others on their healing journeys with gentleness, love, and understanding—especially those who have felt overlooked, misunderstood, or alone in their struggles.
This matters so deeply because I have lived it myself. I know what it feels like to wake up each day with a body that feels decades older than it should, to fight through brain fog, chronic pain, and uncertainty, and to search for answers when the world tells you “you look fine” but you don’t feel fine at all. Through that journey, I learned the value of compassion, patience, and listening—not just to others, but to the quiet whispers of our own bodies.
At Healing of the Body and Mind, my mission is to help every person feel empowered to heal from within, to release what no longer serves them, and to embrace the vitality and peace that is their birthright. What matters most to me is planting seeds of love, hope, and restoration in every heart I touch, knowing that real, lasting transformation begins from within—and watching people bloom into the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves is my greatest joy.
