Hi Jennifer, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In my previous corporate career as a Marketing and Facilities professional, I was charged with opening new offices around the country plus marketing and events. I gained valuable experience working with architects, contractors, design services, and project managers. During this time, I was traveling across the country and needed someone to care for my home and my dogs. I got to experience the good – and the bad. When your home is an investment as much as your pets are, you need to have trust that everything is being cared for and loved as if you were there.
I needed Always Home. So, I started this business out of a need that I had and am offering the level of services that I would have expected to have. I absolutely love going above and beyond for people whether I am watching their house, their pets, or helping them with any concierge services. I love what I do!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being in business for only a year, I didn’t have much of a marketing budget which was frustrating when I wanted to advertise in the higher-end publications. But I have found that referrals are truly how my business has grown.
