Hi Jamie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Like many entrepreneurs, my path wasn’t linear.
Early in my career, I discovered I wasn’t energized by being the visionary with all the ideas—I came alive helping other entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life. I found my passion in operations, leadership, and creating clarity from complexity. Over the years, I served as an Integrator and COO for multiple growing companies, where I saw firsthand just how transformative the right partnership between a Visionary and an Integrator could be.
That experience led me to found Catalyst Integrators®, the first firm dedicated exclusively to providing experienced Fractional Integrators (Fractional COOs) for entrepreneurial companies. Our mission is simple: help Visionaries stay in their unique ability while giving them the operational leadership they need to scale sustainably.
What started as a solo consulting practice has grown into a national team serving entrepreneurs across the country. Along the way, we’ve been honored to be recognized on the Inc. 5000 list for two consecutive years, but what I’m most proud of isn’t the growth—it’s the impact. We’ve helped countless founders reduce overwhelm, strengthen their leadership teams, and build businesses that create freedom instead of burnout.
As we’ve grown, my own role has evolved as well. Today I’m passionate about advancing the Integrator profession, mentoring operational leaders, speaking to entrepreneurial communities, and helping establish higher standards for what great operational leadership looks like. I believe exceptional businesses aren’t built by extraordinary individuals—they’re built by extraordinary partnerships.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I don’t know many entrepreneurs who would describe the journey as smooth, and mine certainly hasn’t been.
One of the biggest challenges was building something that didn’t really exist. When I started Catalyst Integrators®, the concept of a Fractional Integrator was still relatively unknown. We weren’t just building a company—we were educating the market on why this role matters and how it can transform a business. That meant having a lot of conversations, hearing “not yet” more than “yes,” and staying committed to a vision long before others could see it.
Growth has also required me to evolve as a leader. Every new stage of the business has demanded a different version of me. I’ve had to learn how to let go of control, trust others with important responsibilities, make difficult decisions, and become comfortable with uncertainty. Some of the hardest lessons have come through hiring mistakes, leadership transitions, and realizing that not everyone is meant to stay for every chapter of the journey.
Like many founders, I’ve also had to navigate the tension between ambition and sustainability. It’s easy to pour everything you have into building a business, but I’ve learned that success isn’t just measured by revenue or recognition. It’s also measured by whether you’re creating a life you actually enjoy living.
Those experiences are what inspired our philosophy of *Nourish to Flourish™*. I believe businesses perform at their best when the people leading them are healthy, supported, and aligned with their purpose. The challenges weren’t obstacles to the mission—they helped shape it.
