Today we’d like to introduce you to Erica Kulitea
Hi Erica, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, thanks to my parents, two Hispanic immigrants who worked so hard to give me opportunities they didn’t have. After earning my Bachelor’s in Business Marketing from the University of Phoenix, I began my career in digital marketing, learning everything from social media and email marketing to online advertising and website creation. Over the years, I worked across various industries—Medical, Non-Profit, Retail, Finance, and Education—growing my skill set with every new experience.
Fast forward seven years, and I decided to do something wild—I left the corporate grind to focus on my mental health. And wow, what a difference that made! While I was healing and recharging, I rediscovered my true passion: helping others. Nothing lights me up more than seeing people learn, grow, and totally rock their thing. That’s why I started Digital-E Made—to help small businesses thrive in the digital world. Whether it’s crafting the perfect website, brainstorming content ideas, or finding the answers you’ve been Googling for hours (but who has the time for that, right?), I’m here to help others.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting my own website creation agency has been a fulfilling journey, but it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been dealing with imposter syndrome. Even with my skills and experience, there are times I doubt my abilities, especially when comparing myself to larger agencies or established designers. This feeling can make it hard to fully trust my creative instincts or put myself out there as an expert.
Another challenge has been managing everything on my own. Building a business as a solo entrepreneur means wearing multiple hats—from client communication to design, development, and troubleshooting. There are days when it feels overwhelming, but I’ve learned to take things one step at a time, focus on delivering quality work, and remind myself of the value I bring to each client. These experiences have helped me grow not only as a professional but also on a personal level, building resilience and confidence along the way.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I think we’ll see some big changes in how beauty service businesses show up online. With more people booking on their phones, mobile-friendly, visually engaging websites will be more important than ever. I also see AI making websites feel more personal and interactive, while inclusive and accessible design will help every client feel welcomed. Plus, as more brands focus on sustainability, eco-friendly web design might become a bigger deal. It’s an exciting time for beauty brands to stand out and connect with clients online!
