Exploring Life & Business with Ed Stulak of Orbis Group at Real Broker

BEGINNING
Born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, on February 4, 1994, Ed was the first in his family born in the States. During his childhood and most of his teen years, young Ed was an aspiring hockey player traveling the world and striving for nothing but the big leagues. As he continued to improve his hockey skills year after year, Stulak eventually began to feel undesirable pressure from the sport he once loved. It wasn’t too long after his realization that Ed took a big blow to his shoulder during one of his Penn State Ice Hockey games, causing him to hang up the skates.

MIDDLE
The career-ending sports injury forced Eds’ life sails to change direction. Luckily with his determination and optimism to grow again, Ed bounced right into the world of entrepreneurship and began his journey towards something unexpectedly bigger and better. Within a few years, after rounds of trial and error, Ed earned several acclaimed titles such as; Creative Director, Chief Creative Officer, and Co-Founder of multiple companies that developed his interest in social media & grew his digital platform niche to what it is today.

Today, Ed inspires and speaks on stages around the country and teaches National and International Real Estate Professionals how to grow a reputable & effective personal brand that matters.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Although I have found great success in the niche market, I’ve built myself in real estate. I will be the first to admit that starting a new business has unique challenges. First and foremost, the support, in the beginning, was hard for me to find as my family never envisioned me getting into the realm of business and real estate. As immigrants from Europe, they were aiming for me to get into fields like medicine or engineering. However, when I began performing poorly in school, we all realized that that vision was dimmer by the minute.

As you know, we’re big fans of Orbis Group at Real Broker. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
I am the team leader of 12 agents and administrative assistants, we specialize in leasing luxury residential buildings and selling homes, and we’re called Orbis Group. What makes us unique is our culture and branding. Our goal is to guide you home as smoothly and enjoyably as possible. We like to have fun in this industry, enjoy working with people, and make sure to leave them with a good experience because the home buying and selling process can be tough.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Adapt and learn to maneuver through obstacles thrown under your feet while you’re blindfolded.
