Exploring Life & Business with Bryan Ostro of Pure Skin Medspa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Ostro.

Bryan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have loved aesthetics and skincare for as long as I can remember. I struggled with acne as a teen, and it was always a big insecurity of mine. My mom took me to an aesthetician who treated my skin and got me started on a skin care regimen. It seemed like within a couple of weeks, I had regained my confidence because my skin was clear and looking great! It was then that I knew my passion was skincare and aesthetics, and I knew that I wanted to one day have my own medspa! Fast forward to my mid-20 and shortly after I got married, I went back to school to become an Aesthetician & Laser Technician. I attended Aveda Institute for Aesthetics, and National Laser Institute, and in 2018, my dream came true… I opened the doors to Pure Skin MedSpa in Phoenix, AZ.

Today, I am a licensed Aesthetician and Laser Technician, and the founder of Pure Skin Medspa located in North Phoenix. My clients refer to me as “The Collagen King” (@thecollagenking), and I feel so lucky to be able to help people be confident in their skin!

I help my patients with acne, anti-aging, sun spots/dark spots, laser hair removal, Radio Frequency Microneedling, stretch marks, IPL, and much more!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting your own business is never a 100% smooth road… I’ve definitely faced my fair share of challenges in the process. Looking for the right location, finding the right vendors, and choosing what systems to use, were all challenges… but the cool thing is that I have learned a tremendous amount in the process!

My husband and I navigated through these obstacles together, and it helped me to make Pure Skin Medspa into the business that it is today. The biggest lessons I learned are to never give up, and to stay focused on your goals!

At Pure Skin Medspa in Phoenix, AZ, we specialize in helping you have beautiful, youthful, pure skin! Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
As medspa, people think that we only offer services for women. I am proud to say that about 50% of our clientele is MEN! I specialize in treatments that are geared specifically for Men and their skin so that they too can have youthful, clear, great-looking skin which is the first thing that people see when they look at you!
