Exploring Life & Business with Belinda S Allen of The Rise coaching | counseling | mentoring w/ Belinda S Allen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Belinda S Allen.

Hi Belinda S, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey has always been about people and transformation. I started my career working directly in behavioral health, supporting children, families, and adults who were facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Over the years, I moved from front-line work into leadership roles, serving as a case manager, program director, and eventually CEO of a community learning center.

That shift from direct care to leadership taught me the power of strategy, structure, and vision. I realized I could make a bigger impact by not only helping individuals but also by building programs and systems that empower entire communities. Alongside this, I pursued life coaching and leadership training, which gave me the tools to bridge the gap between healing, personal growth, and organizational development.

Most recently, I launched Genius Minds Preschool, a life-focused, excellence-driven program designed to cultivate brilliance in children at an early age. It reflects my passion for blending education, creativity, and wellness in ways that shape both families and future leaders. On the weekends, I continue working hands-on, serving women with mental health challenges by providing coping methods, psychoeducation, and empowerment strategies to support their healing and growth.

Today, I work independently as a speaker, coach, and consultant, focusing on helping organizations strengthen leadership, create wellness-centered programs, and build strategies that deliver real-world results. What makes my path unique is that I’ve lived the full spectrum, from front-line service to executive leadership to entrepreneurship–while still staying connected to direct service. That gives me the ability to connect with both individuals and organizations in a very authentic way.

My story is really about resilience, growth, and empowering others to thrive. That’s the thread that connects everything I’ve done and why I’m so passionate about the work I do now.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve faced many challenges along the way—personally, professionally, and in business. Working in behavioral health exposed me to very heavy environments, and at times the weight of other people’s struggles was difficult to carry. Moving into leadership brought its own set of challenges—learning how to balance vision with reality, managing limited resources, and sometimes pushing through seasons where the support or funding wasn’t there.

Launching my own programs and stepping out as an entrepreneur also came with financial uncertainty, setbacks, and moments of doubt. There were times when I felt stretched between building something meaningful, caring for my family, and making sure the work was sustainable.

But every challenge taught me something: how to be resourceful, how to lean on my faith, how to build resilience, and how to see obstacles as opportunities for growth. Those lessons have shaped the way I serve today. They remind me that while the road may not have been smooth, it’s been necessary for the leader, speaker, and coach I’ve become.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Tell us more about your business or organization. What should we know?

My business is built as a therapeutic coaching, counseling, and mentorship practice with a mission to bring wholeness to the entire person. We believe transformation happens when the mind, body, and spirit are cared for, so everything we do is designed to target all three.

What do you do? What do you specialize in / what are you known for?

We specialize in trauma coaching and spiritual matters, creating safe spaces for people to heal, process, and grow. Beyond one-on-one and group coaching, we also host teaching bootcamps on specialized subjects that equip individuals to strengthen their mind, body, and soul. Our community knows us for blending therapeutic support with practical strategies that bring measurable results.

What sets you apart from others?

What truly sets us apart is our ability to serve the tri-part of man—spirit, soul, and body—in ways that go beyond words. Alongside coaching and counseling, we provide organic health teas and healing balms that support physical and emotional wellness. Through our partnership with Fit Habit Fitness & Supplements, we’re also able to connect clients with additional resources for strengthening their physical health. This integrated model ensures that people are cared for holistically.

What are you most proud of brand-wise?

I am most proud of our ability to yield real results—not just by listening but by equipping our clients with resources for continual self-care. We don’t simply give people hope; we give them tools, systems, and products that keep them moving forward long after a session ends.

What do you want readers to know about your brand, offerings, and services?

I want readers to know that our methods are tried, tested, and proven. We don’t offer quick fixes—we offer strategies that work if you work with them. Whether through therapeutic coaching, specialized bootcamps, or wellness products, everything we provide is designed to empower people to heal, grow, and live whole.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned on my journey is that everyone is just one circumstance away from experiencing a mental disconnect. No one is exempt from the effects of trauma—it touches people from every walk of life in ways that can’t always be seen on the surface.

But I’ve also learned that while trauma is universal, so is resilience. Each of us has the power and ability to navigate through it. With the right tools, support, and perspective, people can rebuild, heal, and even discover strength in places they once felt broken. This truth shapes how I approach my work—reminding me to lead with compassion, equip others with resources, and never underestimate the human capacity to overcome.
