Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Wilke.
Hi Ashley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As an animal advocate and vegan, I felt that there wasn’t much representation of this lifestyle within the fitness industry. I felt inspired to show women that it is possible to thrive by getting adequate protein along with all the necessary nutrients through a plant-based diet!
I have been a health and fitness coach for several years now and it is my true passion and honor to help women become the best versions of themselves!
With certifications from Cornell in Plant-Based Nutrition, NASM as a Personal Trainer, Online Coach, and Women’s Fitness Specialist, I am uniquely qualified to develop customized plans for each client’s unique goals.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Being a small business owner is so rewarding but there have definitely been some learning curves along the way! My biggest challenge when I first started, was connecting my business to my desired audience. Social media has been a very helpful tool with this and I try to stay consistent and have a strong social presence.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I own a fitness and wellness program for women, called Ashley Wilke Fit. The program is designed to help women achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall health through a compassionate, plant-based lifestyle.
The program features customized nutrition and workout plans designed specifically for each woman, based on her unique goals and lifestyle. I track my client’s progress, monitoring their progress weekly and adjusting their plan as needed to ensure their success.
I also offer constant support and communication through my app, making it easy for women to stay on track and receive guidance throughout their journey. The program also includes a fully personalized vegan meal plan that is not only delicious but also easy to prepare, making it easier for women to maintain a healthy diet.
Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I think that when you are a small business owner, you are always going to be taking risks.
Leaving a career with a stable income to start your own company is always risky. However, I personally knew that I would never feel fulfilled if I didn’t follow my passions. Risks are an important part of life! Sometimes you win and sometimes they provide you with lessons.
