Hi Andy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today. 
The name of our business is Cedar Room – it is an upscale cigar lounge in North Scottsdale focused on providing a top-notch selection of cigars, beer, and wines, an excellent experience with our venue and our staff, and constantly connecting with our guests to adjust and cater to their excellent experience.

Being a cigar lounge, we built our humidor that stores our cigar selection out of imported Spanish cedar – the humidor is a humidity and temperature-controlled room our guests walk into when making a selection from the over 16,000 cigars available. When exiting the humidor room, they enter the lounge which is set up for comfort and style. We strive to make everyone feel as comfortable as they would be in a room in their home or their patio.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was very important to us to make sure that the cigars and the environment were up to the highest standards. The first challenge was the air quality, so we went about building a state-of-the-art air filtration system that continually brings in 100 percent fresh air and a system that would continually clean the air. We also architected the location to open up to the outside via retracting 30-foot doors so as to enjoy the great Arizona weather.

We are so proud of our hand-curated premium cigars. We make a great effort to make sure the cigars are always in the best condition and of the highest quality. We do so much of the work upfront to ensure the customer always has an excellent experience and to bring to them the most sought-after cigars.

We have established long relationships in the industry to garner the support of the manufacturers to enable this collaboration and trust. We have also built an environment that is absolutely customer-focused in everything we do. We want customers to come in and enjoy the expansive, professionally decorated environment and really feel they are in their home away from home.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Excellent customer service, excellent lounge and patio environment, and excellent cigar selection are what provide for our new and regular patron visits. We treat patrons as guests and family members. We clean and maintain our lounge and patios daily and several times a day to ensure a pleasant experience for our guests. We also spend extensive time and effort curating the best selection of cigars from around the globe.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Our father, Sam, who started in the cigar industry over 20 years ago, has led the path to where we are today. His kindness, genuine care, and catering to his patrons have been a guide for us today and into the future.

We follow the golden rule when it comes to our patrons and selection of amenities and products. Our staff, who take care of our patrons on a daily basis, also contributed to our reputation in the market and all over the world.
