Hi Zach & Shawnna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Determined Events is a business dedicated to delivering you the best events, food, music & entertainment options – we do it all!

We are an Arizona-based, family-owned, & operated small business with a love for our community as well as our local food & retail small businesses, beginning in 2017, we realized this passion deserved to benefit all the hungry people of the greater Phoenix Metro Area & so it began!!

From day 1 we realized the need for the area to have more diverse opportunities to enjoy lasting & memorable experiences worth sharing with their loved ones. Determined Events organizes family-oriented vendor & food truck events based out of Avondale, Arizona – bringing the best food, fun & family back together… one event at a time!

Community over Competition!!

For our company as well as our family; our sole Mission is to provide the most opportunity possible for the small businesses, mobile chefs & street food specialists that make up our Maricopa County mobile food & vendor communities. Helping add to their brand recognition & spreading the reach of their businesses even further around the Valley.

In doing this we are also able to provide our local community with the very best food trucks, vendors & overall event experiences. Bring your family, friends & pets to enjoy music, kids’ activities, backyard games, giveaways, raffles, & more, all while shopping & enjoying your meal with your loved ones!

Determined Events was established in 2017 through an opportunity to build a business providing the most inclusive, family-centric events possible hosted all over the Valley. Determined Events is dedicated to the concept of community & keeping the love & passion of homemade, local, diverse street food easily accessible & even more over; always memorable!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Determined Events has always stood on its motto; “#StayDetermined!”

As well – nothing worth having comes easy, & the challenges have always come & always gone as they will continue to do year over year. We have always persevered & continued to acclimate to the ever-changing event management & food truck industries to maintain a platform to help small businesses & communities alike, provide their passion to the great people of Arizona!

As we continue to concentrate on growing our local community (Avondale, AZ) & its event opportunities, we are currently offering our ‘From the Ground Up’ – Boutique & Artisan Market every 1st & 3rd Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm right out of Friendship Park, & have several other events that are being scheduled all throughout 2022!

We look forward to the challenges that his year has to deliver us, as these are our biggest opportunities to change & grow in a way that only allows us to offer better & better opportunities for our community & its local businesses.

More specifically, Determined Events specializes in community-based food truck & vendor events intended to bring communal growth & business opportunities to areas that lack these types of experiences for their communities. We also work with small businesses brokering food truck vendors for lunch & dinner stops as well as coordinating catering opportunities all around the valley.

Determined Events has always set its focus on the community first – #CommunityOverCompetition since day 1! We, more articulately, find the gaps in the needs of these communities & create opportunities allowing people to gather with their family, friends, & neighbors to really enjoy themselves without the concern of convenience & the safety of their kids & family.

We pride ourselves on creating the most inclusive environment possible, all while making sure that each & every small business owner, patron, volunteer, or partner feels safe & accommodated each & every time they visit a Determined Event.

What sets us apart from others is our dedication & determination to not only the success but the experience each & every event provides; not only for the small business that participates but also for the community that supports these events & makes them possible!

Without the communal effect, the event should bring there is no familiarity & friendship that grows within it. We pride ourselves on the relationships & friendships that are built from our events & they are derived from the sense of community & togetherness that makes our events so unique & so memorable for our participants & visitors!
