Hi Ysabelle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Ysabelle. I am Filipina American & I am a micro-influencer. I think what sets me aside from others is that I make simple lifestyle content, from food to fashion. Social media has always been a big part of my life growing up. I remember when Instagram first came out. It started off so fun, taking pictures of anything & everything for all my friends to see! Once I graduated high school, that’s when I truly found out about being an influencer. It started off as working with & promoting smaller companies to where I am now, working with big brands like Shapermint, Panera, Walmart, The Ordinary, Hers, etc. I think it’s so much fun to create content & I feel so lucky to be able to do what I do. I get to use my creative, artsy side while promoting my favorite companies!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are definitely times where it’s quiet & there are no campaigns to work on. I think that just comes with the job. I think the biggest struggle for me is balancing my personal life & influencer life. Sometimes it’s hard to meet deadlines & have the time to create content, film & take photos. I feel very lucky that that is my struggle though. Sometimes life gets in the way, but I still find time to make the most of it all.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I think what I’m most proud of is staying true to myself & being truthful to my audience. I only like to work with companies I truly stand by & knowing what they stand for as well. I want people to look at my content & think “wow, I can do this too!” because they can! I don’t have the biggest following, but I get a lot of engagement. I make friends with new followers & love talking to everyone. I love sharing my favorite place, products, etc. I think what sets me aside is knowing that I truly love every campaign I do. I fully stand by each company & product I have ever promoted. I will always share my genuine opinion on each product.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is the people I love. My family plays the biggest role in my life. They are everything to me. They support me in everything I do & I am forever grateful for that.
