Daily Inspiration: Meet Viviana Valenzuela

Today we’d like to introduce you to Viviana Valenzuela. 

Hi Viviana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It all started when I was in the health care industry in a job that I didn’t feel fulfilled in. At the time getting my lashes done was one thing I couldn’t stop obsessing over. Basically, I fell completely in love with lashes and made it my mission to create the lash empire of my dreams. I knew there was power in making a woman feel like a million bucks. I built my clientele while I while I was in school, I went to Aveda institute Tucson and was able to quit my healthcare job by the time I graduated. What started in a little tiny one-bedroom apartment. Now is exactly how I named myself a wonderland of lashes. I have a loft in central Tucson where my sister and I make lash dreams come to life. I created a lash playbook where I teach my craft to rising artists. And when I’m not doing that, I have a full line of mega volume lashes and expanding. This year we plan on expanding to other platforms to reach a larger audience and bring in new product lines and see where that takes us. It’s crazy I can’t believe this is my life I’m truly blessed! Honestly, the work you put in pays off if I didn’t take the chance to go to school I would never have been here. Sometimes we just gotta take a chance and see where it leads. 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh man this journey has been wild. Being the center of the business it’s a lot of pressure. When I’m going through a rough patch, I always try to remind myself with gratitude how blessed I am to be here and have what I have. It helps me snap out of making an emotional decision. I try my best to give myself care so I am able to run this. You have to be kind to yourself in these moments when you feel like the castle is about to crumble lol. But it is that simple I used to work a job I hate so I’m giving 110% in this because this is the legacy I want to leave in my family. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The lash wonderland is a place where mega lash dreams come to life. I specialize in mega volume lashes and in my city, I think I’m pretty much known for my mega full lashes! I think my sets set me apart because I customize every set to the clients’ face shape. I feel like too many people don’t focus on the artistry part you can really transform a face if you give a person the right set of lashes. You can correct a droopy eye with the right lash set just as much as you can make a person’s face look droopy if you place too long of a length. These are customized luxury mega lashes and I’m obsessed with what I do! 

How do you define success?
This is a question I’ve been asking myself because I’m am the hardest on myself. Sometimes I downplay what I’ve built for myself. I know the wonderland can go sky-high. But success for me is being at peace in my life, waking up happy every morning because I get to do what I love. If I leave anything behind, it’s to leave an impact on lives. Sharing what I’ve learned in lashes with another human and watch it change their lives it’s a blessing. I’ve watched women go from making less than 2k a month to now making up to 10k a month. I don’t like to advertise that but that’s life-changing. I do this so that every girl that looks like me sees it’s possible to live the life they desire. I’m just here to leave a legacy and whatever obstacles I face are nothing because my mission is bigger.
