Daily Inspiration: Meet Stacy Wren

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Wren

Hi Stacy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m a Hospitality Junkie, spending 19 years working in Hospitality on the Las Vegas Strip, in various Mega Resorts such as The Venetian and Palazzo, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Cromwell Las Vegas, Treasure Island and Park MGM Las Vegas.

Holding roles in Hotel Management, Concierge Management, Room Service GM, Mini Bar GM and as a Restaurant GM. I was responsible for guiding hundreds of employees in high pressure, high dollar and Forbes Rated operations.

During COVID I decided to really explore the Travel Industry and put my Hospitality knowledge to use.

In 2022 I opened Global Vacation Pro, all on my own, with no clients. Understanding the Hospitality Industry helps me guide travelers in making the best decisions for their trip, both for them and for the property/vendors they are utilizing. I know what works and what doesn’t.

But understanding how travel works was half the battle!

The next lessons were advertising, marketing, accounting and ensuring every detail of a vacation was perfect. Juggling every aspect of my business is worth it, as I’m able to travel the world in the name of “research” for my clients, crafting custom travel experiences that become lifetime memories, and living my life on my terms.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every day operating Global Vacation Pro is a new chance to learn. I’m always learning about exciting travel experiences and what separates hotels/tour companies/cruise lines and specialty vendors from their competition.

The climate of the Travel Industry is ever-changing, and for me to provide the best opportunities for my clients to make lifetime memories, I need to stay up to date!

My personal travel is a huge piece of Global Vacation Pro for me. Traveling around the world and experiencing myself what I can recommend and book for my clients gives me an insiders view as their Travel Agent. My relationships with vendors and tour operators strengthens and they look after my clients with an extra special touch.

I’m continually refining my custom vacation planning process, exploring creative ways to advertise and build long-term relationships with my clients that go beyond their vacations.

Perfecting all of the details keeps me on my toes!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Creating a custom vacation is all about the creativity!

Building a special relationship with my clients helps to understand what they are looking for in a vacation…..whether it’s family time, a Once in a Lifetime Adventure, or a Solo Vacation Cruising around the Globe!

I can lean on creativity to put together an experience that is truly unique, and creates lifetime memories.

Knowing the small nuances of the Travel Industry help me take away the stress of vacation for my clients, creating a smooth experience when they leave for vacation.

How lucky am I to be living the freedoms of travel through when I craft these custom vacations for others!

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’m always looking to add new travelers to the Global Vacation Pro family.

My clients and I collaborate on small weekend trips, big adventures, family vacations and everything in between. They bring me their bucket list dream and we work together to make their vacation a lifetime memory.

If you love traveling, but hate the black hole of the Internet when researching great destinations while handling all of the small, stressful details, we could be a great partnership!

Destinations I specialize in are Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, the Rivers of Europe and Adventure Travel!
