Hi Sierra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. 
Baking as always been a passion for mine, and it goes hand in hand with my passion to feed people. I wanted to open a bakery that reminds you of grandma’s cooking but still was fresh and unique. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was not always easy. Being solo can make it hard. Developing the right recipient can take months of trial and error before you get it just right. 

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Anything with sugar and butter is my jam!

-brown butter chocolate chip cookies 

-goober gluten-friendly cookie sandwiches 

-custom cakes 

-scrolls (elevated cinnamon rolls) 

We’d love to hear about what you think about risk-taking.
I took risk by getting into a market with a recipe I hadn’t perfected just yet. When I started at the Gilbert market, I was still tweaking my recipe for my scrolls. Now, they are perfect.
