Daily Inspiration: Meet Robert Kubaiko

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Kubaiko.

Hi Robert, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I finished high school, I knew I wanted to pursue something creative. I started by taking painting and sculpture classes, and from there, I discovered graphic design. That interest led me to learn website design. While I was taking classes, I began doing some freelance work as a web designer.

One of my clients encouraged me to learn digital marketing alongside web design because he wanted to make sure the websites I built could actually be found on Google, and that I could use other strategies to promote his website. I took the initiative to learn marketing on my own and even worked with a few marketing coaches.

As I applied what I was learning, my client began seeing real success, and that’s when I realized that digital marketing and website design were truly my calling. Before long, I started getting more referrals form my one client and growing my business from there.

I moved to Phoenix, AZ from Michigan in 2016 and began working as a Digital Marketing Specialist for a national company. While working there, I continued to learn new skills to strengthen my expertise in digital marketing. During that time, I decided to create a brand name for my own business and began growing it while still working full-time.

After putting in seven years of hard work, my business started to take off — and I’ve been seeing steady growth every year since.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are a lot of challenges that come with running a business, managing your assistants and making sure they’re doing a good job, dealing with project setbacks, finding new clients, and marketing your business. I’ve had to find solutions to these problems and learn how to manage stress so I can keep moving forward. I believe challenges like these come with the territory of running any business. When you learn how to deal with challenges effectively, you become more mindful, creative, and resilient when facing future setbacks.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in website design and digital marketing. What I love most is using my skill set to help others achieve success and solve real problems.

One thing that makes me stand out from other marketing firms is that my clients work directly with me — one-on-one. I pride myself on providing the best customer service possible. I often hear from clients that they enjoy working with me instead of a large agency because I’m easy to reach, keep them updated, and can quickly schedule a call whenever needed. Most importantly, I deliver results.

My clients also appreciate that I’m transparent and never overpromise what can be done,I stay honest, realistic, and focused on helping them succeed.

What does success mean to you?
My definition of success is going after what you truly want. Yes, you’ll face challenges along the way, but when you do, it’s your responsibility to learn from them and recognize that those obstacles help you grow. Having the right mindset, being open to change, and staying mindful are all essential if you want to achieve lasting success in life.
