Daily Inspiration: Meet Ray Wimley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ray Wimley. They and their team shared their story with us below:

It has been a challenging road. It was overcoming fatigue, balancing everything, and being a parent. Ray did not have a place to stay and had to stay in different hotels. He was having a child and working simultaneously. Having a purpose and being destined to change the world kept him consistent. He kept morals when receiving enticing offers (able to say no thank you). You can be the narrator of your story—fatigue, communication, and having enough finances to put the family in a stable home. Every level comes with different challenges; the hardship cultivated his character. Deedee, his wife, has always supported Ray’s dreams and been by his side despite the struggle.

Side note: When you hear it from Ray, it’s much more poetic than the notes I am providing.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ray’s artistic expression is music and speaks happiness and enlightenment, acknowledging wrongs & holding responsibilities to create solutions. Music artist & a wordsmith uplighting through music & poetry, specializing in music and freestyle, coming up with concepts, hooks, beats, rhythms, flow patterns, and ideas in a musical form. Ray is most proud of getting started and taking that leap of faith. Authentic, clean content, not swayed by money, the professional focus is on people and the desire to pull people together. What’s next?
Ray is well-seasoned in learning life. He knows there are multiple opportunities to build on, past failures to learn from, and future desires to pave the path for others walking in similar shoes as he did, however, with fewer obstacles to tackle. His plans range from creating an investment firm through music to building an artistic community for other Moms and Dads, so they do not have to experience similar financial hardships. He wants to create 2 hit records in the next couple of years and eventually 20 records in the next 10 years. Family is everything, and he looks forward to the day he can buy a home. He would like estate investment for creating content. He has many goals to hit, and he strategically incorporates his family with all the investments he is planning. For each business, he will have his kids maintain part ownership so the assets are passed down to his children. Ray wants to invest in health, wealth, theology, education, and homelessness. He is looking to make a name for his current goals.

– Spotify 50K followers
– TV run (Ellen, Jay Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Steve Harvey, etc.)
– Radio run (Sway in the Morning, LA Leakers, etc.)
– Podcast run (Knuckleheads, All The Smoke, etc.)
– Big Events (BET awards, Grammies)
– Create an avatar and all digital reality
