Daily Inspiration: Meet Pop Stunna

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pop Stunna

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started making music in the basement, and just kept working on my craft as an artist while working on my college education. After school, I came to the realization that this is what I want to do and I put my energy and resources into setting up a proper studio and starting collaborating with professionals to start releasing music.

It was a long journey to go from idea and then putting together all the pieces to turn the idea into reality. I think one of the attributes that made me stand out initially is my work ethic and my zeal to not give up. With consistency I just kept getting better by pushing myself everyday.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
With anything, there is bound to be ups and down. So my career as an artist has not been any different; It’s not been a smooth journey, but its been a worthwhile one. From losing all the people I started with, to coming into my own and forging ahead with or without support. I think the most important thing in this journey is knowing that nobody is going to work hard on your dreams than you, everything starts and stops with you..

The most important thing is having a clear vision of what you want to achieve in your career and understanding that it will take sacrifice to get there. I have been let down so many times, face challenges with relationships, family, friends, and industry professionals scheming to swindle you of your hard earned resources. In the end, you just have to find a way to keep going.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a musical/recording artist, creative, producer and director. I have achieved a lot in my career and toured the world performing my music. I am known for the energy and passion I bring to my music. I think one of my proudest moment is seeing the project I conceptualized and worked on being considered for the Grammys. That was such a honor .

I think the main thing that sets me apart from the others is my originality and authenticity that I bring with my creativity, nobody what happens I always keep it real and bring my real personality into my craft.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I think with A.I gaining mainstream support, there will be a shift in how music is recorded and produced. However, I don’t see a massive shift occurring to the core of music, which is the creative aspect of things. However, A.I will make creativity and collaboration easier, but it won’t change the very essence of what real music is.
