Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Haring.
Hi Nicole, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always been a teacher, something innate within me, I suppose. I am a runner and my body was beginning to ache many years ago, so I decided to try yoga for the physical stretching and conditioning many asana practices offer. I very quickly moved into wanting to know more. I had not planned on becoming a yoga teacher but there I was, learning and exploring the educational side to find out more and it naturally progressed into me sharing outward those findings. From there it just kept drawing me deeper into holistic health. I am now training to become a clinical herbalist and will follow it up with going on for naturopathic medicine studies.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Trusting people, its a very interesting situation owning a business. While there are countless good humans there is also a percentage of those that try to take advantage of what others can offer.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am also a silversmith, oil painter, and now ceramic sculpture artist. I bring my creative mind into all avenues I explore, my teaching yoga and working with people and herbs settles very well into my creative brain.
How do you think about happiness?
Everything. If. we can ground during those moments that are unsettling there is bound to be a silver-lining of light.
