Daily Inspiration: Meet Nicole Church

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Church

Hi Nicole, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been passionate about marketing and brand design from an early age. Starting my journey at FIDM, where I earned a degree in Merchandise Marketing, I fell in love with the fashion industry and the art of branding. Later, I pursued my business management degree at GCU, where I met my husband and graduated with a three-month-old on my hip. My love for work never waned, even as a stay-at-home mom. During this time, my son was diagnosed with autism, and to help my mental health, I began reselling vintage items, sparking my entrepreneurial spirit.

At 16, I started working in retail, and by my early 20s, I was immersing myself in the world of marketing. I landed my first marketing internship and quickly transitioned into managing social media for a startup, wearing many hats and teaching myself the ins and outs of digital marketing. When that company dissolved, I dove into freelancing, building my skills across multiple marketing roles. Each role deepened my love for client relationships and crafting flexible work-life balance as a mom of three.

Word-of-mouth referrals became the cornerstone of my business. My best friend introduced me to my first major client, and from there, my social media marketing business took off. Today, I offer social media management, consulting, one-on-one coaching, email marketing, and brand development services. I thrive on creating dream social media profiles for my clients, taking the load off busy business owners who struggle to find time for content creation. I’m here to help businesses grow their online presence and bring their vision to life!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Ultimately believing in myself and feeling confident along the way. Thankfully my client Sawana made a huge impact on me. I knew that I had the skills but she was the first one that really believed in me and told everyone about me. It’s really important who you surround yourself with and find your support system.

The hardest part is being a mom of 3, wife, managing a household and working 10 hour days + weekends. But I love what I do.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I really work with small business owners on a budget. I create these beautiful brand guides and help them visualize what their social media could look like. I don’t try and control their brand and their content. I think that showing your personality, dreams, and goals in your content really helps people relate to you and your brand. One thing that really sets me apart is with my social media monthly packages I come on site and film video content for you. The #1 way to grow on social media is through video content.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
When you first start building your business try and say yes to every opportunity. Any way that can get your name out there. For me, I spoke at a tenant happy hour and Anthem chamber of Commerce meeting. Referrals have been the foundation of my business and I am so grateful. Having a mentor is huge ironically. I would say mine is one of my first clients. Sawanna, She has 3 businesses and a true networking queen.
